Edward helmet - Silver

The matching helmet to our armor series Edward. Its design is based on historical great helmets, but with more dynamic shaped eye slits. Like all pieces from this series the offset beading and the decorative rivets make it a real eye-catcher.

The helmet has a circumference of 60cm to 62cm, so it is made for larger heads.

This massive pair of pauldrons has been built with additional sword breakers attached on top of the shoulder. The spaulders are built from two parts (shoulder and upper arm) and attach to an exsisting breastplate to hold them in place.

The spaulders are made in the style of the "Edward" armour: a ridge along the edge and many decorative rivets surrounding it. The pieces for the upper arm are something very special: they are built anatomically, so that they rest on the upper arm very tight and comfortably.

You strike your sword against your rounded shield, shouting alongside your legionaries outside the gates of Syracuse. Inside, their people are filled with terror, deafened by your army’s trumpets and noise. Arrows rain down and you and your fellow soldiers form a barrier with your shields.

There is nothing that can stop you. The design of your shield allows you to stand in close formation, advancing on their defenders and dispatching them quickly. Even if an arrow should find its way through the cracks, your Troy Helmet will keep you protected.

Featuring a horsehair plumed crest and protective cheek- and nasal-guards, this round steel-capped helmet is both impressive and practical. Your Dark Drake Armour is as dark as your intentions, hardened by the evil magic your subjects provide. As you withdraw your sword, sizing up the quivering soldier who feels brave enough to stand against you, you begin to laugh. This will be a very brief fight--if you can even call it that. Epic Armoury’s Dark Drake Breastplate is a finely sculpted piece of armour that protects the front of the torso, chest and abdomen. Sculpted to fit the body and add structural strength to the steel, this galvanized steel piece has been decorated to mimic reptilian scales. The plate rests at the hips and has a V-shaped flange--or sword turner--that deflects blows from the weak spot where torso and leg armour fit together. The armour is made from rolled mild steel treated with Epic Armoury’s Epic Dark Metal coat, which gives the armour a rugged, antique finish.

The Dark Drake Breastplate is designed to match Epic Armoury’s Dark Drake Armour, but is fully usable with other Epic Armoury metal products, giving you the freedom to customize your character’s costume. Epic Armoury’s Sallet is a protective helmet with a movable visor closely based on the historical helmet used in 15th century Germany. The visor is reinforced and shaped to fit comfortably around the face while still providing good air flow through its ventilation holes. This helmet is covered with detail that is both beautiful and practical. Wear the visor over the forehead or the face thanks to its flower-decorated hinge, or enjoy the decorative reinforcement plating along the brow. A flexible lobster neck-plate protects the back of the head behind the ears.

Epic Armoury’s Roman Sword is a classic latex weapon inspired by the Ancient Roman legionnaires. The 65 cm double-edged blade has a central ridge and narrows toward the crescent-shaped crossguard. Sculpted and handpainted, the detailed crossguard protects the 13 cm split-leather handle. A fish-tail pommel caps this sword, painted to match the crossguard.

Made from durable closed cell foam around a fibreglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, you can feel confident that your LARP weapon will provide the safety and appeal you want when crafting your Roman-inspired kit.
