Your Chain Skirt shifts just slightly with every stride, a comfort due to its protection and the flexibility it affords you. This is the life of a soldier at its finest.

DETAILS

Epic Armoury's Chain Skirt is a flexible mail armour skirt made from linked steel rings. The mail covers the lower body from the waist to the thighs, and is hung from the shoulders by two strong leather straps. Each butted steel ring interlocks with four other rings in a 4-in-1 design, and the skirt is hemed in leather to ensure comfort around the waist and the groin.

The Chain Skirt is great for heavy medieval infantry and sergeants looking to had some armour that will not sacrifice range of movement. Wear it over one of our gambesons for the most comfort and authentic wear, securing it with the double strapped belt around the waist--a durable solution to compensate for the chainmail’s weight!--and adjusting the shoulder straps. Pair this armour with additional Epic Armoury metal works and clothing to fit your character’s needs.

Very few things offer greater protective qualities than steel, when it comes to historical armour. But with steel also comes disadvantages like weight, inflexibility and the need for constant maintenance to protect against rust. Nevertheless, in this day and age, unless you are on the re-enactment or SCA battlefield, you simply don’t need the level of protection that steel affords.
We here at Epic Armoury would like to present our Light Kit Edition Armours. Light Kit Armours are armours made out of Polyurethane, meant to resemble authentic metallic armours. Created with weight, comfort and utility in mind, Light Kit edition armours are for those people, who want to look like they are wearing authentic metallic armours while being comfortable.
To the untrained eye, these polyurethane armours are difficult to distinguish from their metallic counterparts.They are, however, more comfortable to wear and can be worn for long periods of time without discomfort. The polyurethane foam Outrider Greaves from Epic Armoury is all about combat efficiency. This set of greaves is painted to look like real steel and is accentuated by black leather plates. These fantasy greaves are designed to provide armor protection to the lower legs. Our lightweight Larp greaves possess knee guards and are equipped with thick leather straps for a quick, easy fit. In the midst an epic battle, Dorgen Largebellows crushed the skull of his enemy in a single swing. His hammer had once again brought down a foe. Raising his head - and beard - high, the warrior looked at what was left of the horde in front of him. He held his hammer high, threatening. In a moment, all were fleeing and he was left alone.

Years before those events, the Dwarf had the great idea to forge himself a hammer fitting to his ambitions. He declared that this idea was a great one, and that they should wait and see the results. After months of hard work, he had the weapon to prove he was the greatest blacksmith, and ready for battle.

Workshop

The Dorgen Hammer is part of the Seyrawryn universe, created by Martial Grisé. This hammer, while looking incredibly real, is in fact perfectly safe thanks to its Calimacil foam. The grip has a leather texture and is adorned with a steel pommel, while the wooden handle holds the steel-coloured heads. A green emerald sits atop of this unique weapon. Its heads are hollow for safe LARP combat, and its Calimacil foam material ensures its durability for years of adventures.

Characters

Perfect for dwarven characters, this hammer will also suit brutes of a more rough nature, such as Trolls, barbarians and other monsters. Epic Armoury’s Battle Skirt is an ankle-length, loose garment suitable for both men and women designed to be worn on the hips. The skirt is fitted with heavy cotton-cord lacing at the waist, allowing the skirt to be worn with- or without a belt. The skirt is fitted with slits at the sides, securing easy movement and preventing the fabric from getting in the way during combat.

The Black Ice Battle Skirt is violet-blue with black trim, and is made from cotton. Whether you are a one-man army wanting to stand out, or you are in a unit of soldiers and want to blend in, you will appear full of style, class, and distinction by wearing the Black Ice Battle skirt.

The Lancelot tassets match the look of the leather cuirass of the same name from the Fucina del Drago range. With two adjustable straps they can be easily attached to the Lancelot armor belt. They complete the armor and visually close it off at the bottom. Of course, they also protect the thighs from hits.

Black Dragon is our brand for the design and construction of weapons, armor and props oriented to LARP, Cosplay and film productions.

These are articles made of materials such as plastazote, evazote, resins and the like, used to give shape and substance to the wildest dreams of every designer or to reproduce objects not otherwise available because of fantasy.

It was born from the meeting between the Fucina del Drago and Black Forge, an artisan workshop that has been active for years in the LARP and Cosplay sector at national and international level which, in February 2020, joined forces in the common goal of expanding their work and their skills to offer them on a wider market also linked to film productions.

From this collaboration, projects related to TV series have been born that have benefited from years of experience and tests on materials, at the same time highlighting on the one hand the absolute reachable realism and on the other the possibility of truly shaping the imagination to give shape to things otherwise unattainable.

From the feedback obtained, the push that led us to strongly believe in this new project was born to the point of creating a brand dedicated only to this type of product.

Combined with the Undead plate belt & torso Mytholon revives some history.
Originally developed as part of the NPC deal for Conquest of Mythodea 2007, the set is being resurrected 15 years on. Whether it's undead flesh or a dark knight, Mytholon's Undead series cuts a fine figure in life or in death.

The "Untot" plate strap is closed at the back with a sturdy roller buckle and is adjustable in length. It is elaborately decorated with beads and has a riveted cross in the middle, which, like the leg pockets, is ideal for attaching a coat of arms, skull or other ornaments.
