Nemesis Workshops (also known as Ateliers Nemesis) has specialized for 15 years in the design and manufacture of weapons for LARP and Cosplay. Founded in 2004 in the cold windswept plains of the eastern Canada, Calimacil set out from its inception to become a world-class supplier of high-end LARP and historical re-enactment foam weapons. A scarlet blur of swagger and panache, the dashing swashbuckler jumped from the balcony, landing on the shoulder of the statue of her Excellence the Empress herself, a good fifteen feet above the ground. Around the monument, palace courtiers and festive diplomats were laughing and clapping at the display of skill, convinced they just witnessed the surprise show of an impromptu acrobat. They quickly realized it wasn't exactly a planned event when a group of ironclad imperial guards reached the balcony, huffing and puffing under their plate armour. As they tried to strike the crimson outlaw with their halberds, it became clear this sword-bearing newcomer was some sort of intruder. Not losing a second, the nimble outlaw kissed goodbye to the armed guard before jumping from the statue's shoulder, using the stone Empress exaggerated dress rump as a ramp before landing with a pirouette in the middle of the assembly.

Up on the balcony, the guards were pushed aside by a red-faced and outraged Empress, dishevelled as she just got out of bed. She screamed in anger and injured ego: ''How dare you?! No one refuses the Empress! Arrest this ungrateful scoundrel!'' She ordered, spurring a few prideful nobles to draw their rapier and attempt to stop the nimble fleeing fencer. Apologizing in advance, the swashbuckler freed a long fencing dagger and a matching arming sword, before methodically destroying both the nobles' ego and their fancy clothes as they bit the dust, uninjured but out of commission. With a taunting reverence, the agile duellist turned toward the Empress and screamed, a giggle in the voice; ''I am quite sorry my dear, but I prefer to go with no strings attached. I am sure you will find another pretty face to join your so-called musketeers''. And with a stunning smile, the adventurous insolent escaped through the gardens, leaving the Empress dealing with a small court scandal on top of her bruised pride.

Athena is a new thermoforming manufacturing process that we have developed in order to offer high quality products at the cutting edge of technology. 

Thanks to this new process, Nemesis has taken the quality of their products to a higher level. Safer due to reinforced tips, durable due to quality materials and foam fusion during thermoforming, incredible balance due to the weighting system in the handles, flawless blades due to high precision molds, and daggers ready to parry due to a more robust fiberglass rod.

The sword sits in the baldric hanging down from your shoulder, faithful to its master despite the challenges. It has been a long and dusty road--and your uniform down to your Landsknecht Pants is covered in dirt and grime--but that sword has remained at your side through it all.

As your infantry unit comes to a halt, there is the tension one always feels before the fight. You resist the anxiety, because the moment you step into battle all of that must fade away. It will be you fighting alongside your fellow soldiers, and it will be the sword hanging in your trusted baldric that keeps you alive.

DETAILS

Epic Armoury’s Landsknecht Pants are styled leggings with baggy thighs and vertically cut colours, most often associated with the wealthy men and German Landsknecht mercenaries of the Renaissance period. Made from durable light canvas and soft cotton lining, these pants are extra wide above the knees before mimicking leggings, easily fit inside your boots and leg armour. Adjust the fabric around the calves by tightening its reinforced cotton cord to get the best fit.

The pants are fitted with a heavy cotton cord drawstring and metal buttons at the waist to keep the pants in place while leaving sufficient room for a proper belt. The pants also have pockets.
Please note that there are decorative stitches in the pleating to keep the product in prime condition prior to sale. For comfort and longevity some customers may need to unpick the stitch on the front and side of the thighs.

The Landsknecht Pants are fully compatible with Epic Armoury's other clothes and armours, and the style will fit with a broad variety of characters.

DETAILS

The Swashbuckler Hybrid cutlass is a medium cutlass inspired by naval swords. The sword is 71 cm long and has a 52 cm curved blade that widens toward the end, designed to chop and slice when in a fight against the Parliamentarians. The detailed handle--with its curved crossguard and spherical pommel--features a handpainted finish that looks like aged iron. The 10 cm grip is cast and painted to look like wood and is ergonomically shaped, with a loop attached to the crossguard for the index finger. This grip gives you more accuracy when wielding the Swashbuckler cutlass and looks incredibly realistic.

 The blade is made from closed cell foam around a fibreglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, while the handle is a polyurethane foam cast that allows for greater detail and no maintenance. This hybrid model sword will make you confident in the safety and appeal of your weapon on the battlefield.

Diego and Luis stood facing each other, their rapiers at the ready. The sun beat down on them as they prepared to engage in a duel for the honour of Boots.
"I can't believe you're willing to risk your life for Boots." Diego taunted, a smirk on his face.
"Animals deserve our respect and care, Diego. You would know that were you not a ribald cur!" Luis replied, his voice steady and resolute.
"CUR?!" Diego roared "Let us see if your respect for animals can protect you from my blade!" as he lunged forward with his rapier.
Luis deftly parried the blow with his Agrippa, the clang of the two blades ringing out through the clearing. "I may respect animals, but for you I will make this one exception." he retorted, delivering a sharp counter-attack that sent Diego staggering backwards.The two men continued to exchange blows, their rapiers flashing in the sunlight. The crowd watching the spectacle gasped and cheered as they witnessed the incredible skill of the two masters of fencing.

But the object at the centre of the duel had already wandered off to find a patch of sunlight, bored with the the hairless apes that did not even have the wits to have small knives attached to the end of their toe beans.

Workshop

This sword, the third version of our most popular rapier, was designed with a special rod that grants great flexibility to the flat side of the blade while retaining a certain rigidity on the edges and tip. This allows safe thrusting and slashing attacks as well as parries. The new guard is a classic wire basket design that is fixed in place. While flexible, this guard will help safely cushion blows to your fingers.

“The peasant rebel was well-armed and brave, but the experienced officer surprised him by swiftly drawing his rapier in an agile stance. The ornamented hilt gleamed during the deadly dance that followed. The rebel lunged forward but halted to defend himself from a deceiving thrust that pierced his wrist. Epic Armoury’s hybrid range Rillet Rapier is a delicate sword inspired by 16th and 17th-century designs.
