Currently it's mandatory to wear fabric face masks which fulfill their purpose only if we all wear them in these difficult times. So why not at least look cool doing it?

The survival time of the virus on various surfaces led Wulflund to the production of these masks, a first on the market.
A solid duralumin construction has been chosen as standard plastics and stainless steel turned out to be materials with some of the longest survival rate of the virus whereas aluminium based metals performed better.

Customers note:

• Wear this over a proper, Covid compliant mask.
• This is not medical equipment
• The metal is easy to clean and disinfect, but does require cleaning and disinfection after use.
• This is arguably cooler than a cloth face shield :P

Epic Armoury’s Polished Steel Guardsman Helmet is a steel helmet inspired by German sallet helmets of the 15th century. The Guardsman Helmet’s brim is broad and steeply sloped in order to protect the head and face from weapons. Two eye holes in the brim allow for protected vision. Wear this helmet with a bevor for additional neck and face protection.

Secure the Guardsman Helmet by tightening the leather strap beneath the chin, keeping the helmet in place. Made of 1 mm thick mild steel and top-grain leather straps and fittings, this armour piece is built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather and metal armour care.

HISTORY

• Similar in shape to a German sallet or an infantry Kettle Hat
• Provided the added benefit of protecting the eyes from sunlight
• Design was eventually replaced with the close helm and burgonet

Epic Armoury’s Sallet is a protective helmet with a movable visor closely based on the historical helmet used in 15th century Germany. The visor is reinforced and shaped to fit comfortably around the face while still providing good air flow through its ventilation holes. This helmet is covered with detail that is both beautiful and practical. Wear the visor over the forehead or the face thanks to its flower-decorated hinge, or enjoy the decorative reinforcement plating along the brow. A flexible lobster neck-plate protects the back of the head behind the ears.

Epic Armoury’s Mempo is a leather half-mask inspired by early Asian soldiers. This mask protects the face from the bridge of the nose to the chin. Four ventilation slits allow proper airflow through the mask’s mouth, designed to be comfortably worn for long periods of time. Secure the mask to your face by tying two long cotton-weave cords around the head.

Epic Armoury’s Green Noble Leather Bevor is a piece of handmade leather armour designed to protect the face and neck, inspired by traditional armour worn during the medieval period.
