Epic Armoury’s Gambeson Legs are a set of quilted cotton greaves designed to add comfort and protection beneath your leg armour. Made from quilted cotton canvas lined with a soft polyester interior and a medium cotton outer layer, they can be worn on their own or as padding beneath heavy steel or leather armour.

The Gambeson Legs are stitched to ensure the padding will remain evenly spaced. Secure them to your legs by tightening the cotton string lacing through brass eyelets up the calf. Quilted armours were common through many cultures and used across a broad expanse of time. With their neutral style, the Gambeson Legs will work on a wide variety of characters.

Epic Armoury’s Warrior Breastplate is a simple low-fantasy piece of armour protecting the front of the torso and abdomen. The plate rests at the hips and has a V-shaped flange--or sword turner--that deflects blows from the weak spot where torso and leg armour fit together. Sculpted to fit the body and add structural strength to the steel, this steel riveted piece has been polished to a high-gloss finish to appeal to the elven and human knights in shining armour.

The Warrior Breastplate is neutral in style and fully usable with all Epic Armoury backplates. Wear it alone or with the backplate of your choice to customize your character’s costume and make it your own. Made of 1 mm thick mild steel and top-grain leather straps and fittings, this armour piece is built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather and metal armour care.
