The Frey Chainmail Sleeve is a great armor accessory. With comfort in mind it's made so it can equally be worn both for right and left arm, and is finished with quality, engraved leather and real rabbit fur.

The chainmail is made with aluminum riveted plain ring, reducing its weight, making it oiling free, and making it more comfortable with a hand sewn leather cuff.
It doesn't require maintenance.

Epic Armoury’s Dark Red Pourpoint is a form-fitting long-sleeve coat covering the torso from the neck to the hips. It can be worn on its own or serve as padding under mail or armour. The pourpoint is donned like a jacket and secured along the front, sides and back with cotton cords, allowing you to customize the tightness of the fit. The arms are easily detachable by untying its cotton cords on the shoulders, each cord secured through long-lasting brass eyelets. Worn like a proper knight, you may attach hose and a leg harness to the four eyelets on the bottom front hem.

Thick enough to serve as its own armour, this durable doublet is constructed with layers of heavy green cotton. The Pourpoint is stitched together in vertical and diagonal lines, keeping the padding in place and giving the body a strong form-fitted appearance.

Epic Armoury’s Warrior Gambeson Long Sleeves are padded sleeves, that fit with the Epic Armoury Warrior Gambeson Torso, which is sold separately. These sleeves are easily attached to the Torso by using the supplied cotton cords and long-lasting brass eyelets.

Thick enough to serve as its own armour, these sturdy long gambeson sleeves are constructed with heavy layers of fluffed polyester sandwiched between layers of heavy cotton twill. All these layers are stitched together in vertical lines, keeping the padding in place and mimicking a classic European high-medieval style.

Though of European cut, gambeson or quilted-style armours have seen world-wide use since antediluvian times, making the Warrior Gambeson a great basic armour with a range of possibilities regardless of time and place.

Practical Protection for the Arms

Epic Armoury’s Soldier Arm Protection is a complete set of vambraces, rerebraces, and elbow cups. Designed to protect the outside of the entire arm, this handmade armour is made from 1mm steel and connected by chrome leather straps and strong rivets. The elbow cups--also known as couters--protect the elbow joint thanks to its rounded shape and reinforced ridges. The inside of the elbow features a cupped flange to deflect blows. The upper arm is protected by the half-rerebrace, while the lower arm is protected by the vambrace.

The Soldier’s Arm Protection has rolled edges that form ridges around the rims. Three chrome leather straps are used to secure the armour to your arm, and the top of the rerebrace is attached to the gambeson using canvas ties through a leather plate. With regular leather and metal care you can expect this quality made armour to last for a long time!

Epic Armoury’s Shoulder Armour is a handsomely crafted piece of armour with shoulder and upper arm protection. Made from vegetable-tanned full-grain leather, this armour features a pauldron and a sword-breaker designed to deflect blows away from the head. Using overlapping and form-fitting plates to add extra strength to the leather, you can expect to use this shoulder guard for a long time with regular leather care. The upper arm guard is embellished with flattened leather cords and toned rivets.

Secure the Shoulder Armour using the sturdy leather straps around the upper arm and the chest. You can wear it on either shoulder or as a pair together. The style is neutral, allowing you to easily match it with other Epic Armoury leather and metal armours when customizing your character’s equipment.

This chain armor is made from natural untreated steel butted 4-in-1 rings and has riveted flattened rings under the arms to prevent premature tear in battle. The chainmail is embellished with leather trim and attaches in the front by a series of buckles for a quick fit. For additional comfort when going to war, wear this chainmail over your gambeson.
