Lena spaulders S/M

Mytholons "Lena" armour series was especially designed for warrior princesses and shield maidens alike. They distanced from historical patterns and steped closer to a rather fantastic shape. 
The "Lena" series spaulders have an elegant curved upper arm part and a great cut on the shoulder piece by having the blade breakers added on top of them. This stable riveted blade breaker does not only add a martial look to the wearer, but makes the wearer a little wider. A well-fortified look is added to the wearer.
All edges and points are beaded for extra protection and comfort for the wearer.n.

The chest plate from our "Lena" series was built for a cup size of "B" to "D". It consists of three pieces: the two cups for the front and the back plate.

The two cups are held together by a leather strip and are attached to the back plate with four buckles. This way it can be adjusted to the wearers body individually.

Being worn directly on the top layer of clothing it can improve many differernt costumes and character ideas.

Same as the "Vladimir" torso armour the spaulders are made out of several flexible segments. This allows the wearer to lift and turn his arms to the greatest possible extent.
Their broad shape accentuates the impressive appearance of the whole suit of armour.

You look down the line of soldiers, knowing that their fate and the fate of your entire unit is dependent on your word. It is quite a heavy burden, far heavier than the magnificently polished steel Milanese Pauldrons on your shoulders.

“We must fight!” you shout for all to hear. “For our homes and for our families, we will fight until we can fight no more!” With a resounding cheer, your soldiers ready themselves for the charge. You withdraw your weapon, finding your resolve and setting your gaze upon the enemy.

Epic Armoury’s Polished Steel Milanese Pauldrons are a pair of simple low-fantasy shoulderguards. The pauldrons rest on top of the shoulders and cover the upper arms and a large portion of the upper back. Both are attractively curved to add structural strength to the steel while maintaining flexibility thanks to the overlapping plates. Asymmetrical in design, the left pauldron is fitted with a vertical plate designed to protect the head from glancing blows. These steel riveted pieces have been polished to a high-gloss finish to appeal to the knights in shining armour.

The Milanese Pauldrons are embellished with a top beveled plate to further deflect attacks, as well as a chain pin to attach an insignia. Secure them by tying the canvas ties to a breastplate or gambeson, and pulling the leather straps tight around the upper arms. They are fully usable with Epic Armoury’s Milanese Armour set, as well as other Epic Armoury metal work products, giving you the freedom to customize your character’s costume. Made of 1 mm thick mild steel and top-grain leather straps and fittings, this armour piece is built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather and metal armour care.

The large, segmented spaulders from Mytholon's  "Elias" series.

The original, typical spaulder has a segment added to it and therefore looks even more impressing. The spaulders are being fixed by a buckle-strap on the gorget, and a single strap under your upper arm.

The gorget is not included and is required when used in conjunction with the rest of the Elias set.

Bigger is Bad Arse-r!

This massive pair of pauldrons has been built with additional sword breakers attached on top of the shoulder. The spaulders are built from two parts (shoulder and upper arm) and attach to an exsisting breastplate to hold them in place.

The spaulders are made in the style of the "Edward" armour: a ridge along the edge and many decorative rivets surrounding it. The pieces for the upper arm are something very special: they are built anatomically, so that they rest on the upper arm very tight and comfortably.

A pair of huge spaulders, equipped with sword breakers and besagew on each side, will give you that truly heroic Paladin look.
The spaulders are made from multiple parts that are riveted together. This way the wearer will still be able to move his arms freely and is not limited in movement.

The sword breakers on the inside enlarge the entire spaulder from the side view. Use the inner buckle to strap the spaulders to the "Galahad" armour set. There is also a buckle-strap for the upper arm.
The besagew cover the armpit, the place with auxilliary arteries - vital parts, so to say. This is the armour part, where you have the possibility to paint your own heraldic colours onto. A small colourful armour piece will loose up the complete blank look of the armour.

You stand so very tall in your armour, the hard edges of your Renegade Shoulder glinting in the sunlight. From far away you pose an intimidating threat, and up close you are terrifying.

Epic Armoury’s Renegade Shoulder is a single spaulder designed to protect the upper arm, shoulder and face. Handcrafted from 1mm thick mild steel, this shoulder guard features three overlapping plates that provide great protection and movement. The shape of the top plate is specifically designed to deflect hits to the shoulder, while also protecting the face thanks to the curved sword breaker. These plates are attached with vegetable tanned leather and steel rivets.

The Renegade Shoulder is designed to match Epic Armoury’s ‘Renegade’ set, a mercenary inspired armour set that is great for many body sizes and types. It can also be paired with other Epic Armoury armours in order to fully customize your character’s look. Secure the Renegade Shoulder by looping the included canvas ties through the leather shoulder piece and the top plate, choosing from the available holes to achieve the best fit. This shoulder piece straps across the chest and back. Finally, strap the second leather strap around the upper arm to keep the armour firmly in place.

The Captain Pauldrons provide sovereign shoulder protection and are made from mild steel in Epic Dark and Epic Grey colours to emphasise honour and servitude. It is designed with a characteristic haute-piece that provides extra protection for the neck.

The Captain Pauldrons are part of the Captain Armour Complete Set and are intended to pair with the Captain Cuirass, Captain Gorget, Captain Arm Protection, Captain Leg Protection and Captain Belt Shields. The Captain Pauldrons are sold as a pair.

The word pauldron is derived from the Old French words espauleron, which means a shoulder-plate, and espaule, which means shoulder.
