DETAILS
Epic Armoury’s Viking Armour is a breastplate and backplate inspired by lamellar worn by the Vikings, protecting the front and back of the torso. Made from layers of mild steel plates connected with durable leather cording, this armour is flexible and impressive in detail. Strong leather lines the armour around the edges to add comfort, while adjustable leather straps along the sides and on the shoulders attach the front to a solid leather backplate. This steel piece has been treated with Epic Armoury's Epic Dark Metal coat to give the armour a rugged, antique finish.
The Viking Armour is fully usable with other Epic Armoury metal products, giving you the freedom to customize your character’s costume. Made of 1 mm thick galvanized mild steel and top-grain leather straps and fittings, this armour piece is built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather and metal armour care.

DETAILS
Epic Armoury’s Viking Mask Helmet is a skull cap helmet inspired by the Vikings of the 10th century. The “spectacle” guard over the eyes provides great protection for the face while still allowing the wearer good vision. Reinforced with rivets, a combed apex, and a steel band around the rim, you can expect this helmet to stand up against the Roman Empire and its inferior states.
Secure the Viking Mask Helmet by tightening the leather strap beneath the chin, keeping the helmet in place. Made of 1 mm thick mild steel and top-grain leather straps and fittings, this armour piece is built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather and metal armour care.

DETAILS
The Viking Sword is a weapon of status wielded by free men and proud warriors of skill and valour. The 95 cm long sword has a 77 cm fullered blade designed to be lightweight while maintaining its structural stability. The 12 cm leather-wrapped handle gives the sword good balance and grip, protected by a curved crossguard.
The Viking Sword can be complemented with a Viking Shield or Dagger. Made from durable closed cell foam around a solid fibreglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, you can feel confident that your LARP weapon will provide the safety and appeal you want when crafting your kit.

Humidity, expansion and contraction in the heat, UV radiation, rain, and the withering blows of your enemies all conspire to expose your armour to rust, but worse yet, your very own precious bodily fluids conspire to corrode it from the inside with their impurities and corruption! (which is why we only ever drink pure grain alcohol or rainwater)
You could coat your armour (and other metal objects) in a regular run of the mill lubricant, but many of them are actively hydrophobic. Great for metal but terrible for leather, cotton and other organic materials!
Lanox MX4 is a lanolin rich lubricant, and lanolin is the oil that is naturally produced by sheep to prevent them from shrinking in the rain and generally remain weather proof! It is superior to many artificial compounds and does not damage leathers or organic fibres.
Please note: Due to the pressurised nature of this product, it is NOT A PRODUCT THATCAN BE DELIVERED by standard courier. You will need to pick it up from us at a game or warehouse, or we may arrange for specialty couriers by request.
