There are multiple tales that recount the adventures of the well-known Red Warriors of Ul'Drazak. The mother city was once ravaged by invaders who, not content to kill the male population, also enslaved the women of the country. The women refused to submit and quietly prepared an insurrection that made in the annals of history. The master blacksmith Aedrisse secretly created her now-famous armor, competing in strength and flexibility with those of the greatest smiths in the kingdom. The women avenged their sons, fathers and brothers in a single night, covering themselves in the blood of their enemies in order to sow terror among their opponents. Since then, the Red Warriors are the elite guard of the capital and their efficiency is only equalled by their reputation.

Workshop

This corset was designed for a true warrior. Very comfortable, it allows not only greater flexibility, but also a better fit thanks to the possibility to vary the size of the pieces separately: thanks to this it is possible to adapt the armor to any kind of waist and chest. It is possible to change the color of the leather and the type of dye to customize the kit and so equip your favourite warrior with her own custom armor

You ready your throwing knives, ready to launch your deadly attack when the lord finally emerges from inside the keep. One quick flick of your wrist and the lord breathes his last, you knife hitting its mark...and you vanish, leaving their guards bewildered and afraid.

Epic Armoury’s Mempo is a leather half-mask inspired by early Asian soldiers. This mask protects the face from the bridge of the nose to the chin. Four ventilation slits allow proper airflow through the mask’s mouth, designed to be comfortably worn for long periods of time. Secure the mask to your face by tying two long cotton-weave cords around the head.

Made from 3mm thick vegetable-tanned full-grain leather, Epic Armoury’s Mempo is designed to add a great layer to your fantasy or historic costume. With the best quality materials, this mask is built to withstand extensive abuse with regular leather care.

You strike your sword against your rounded shield, shouting alongside your legionaries outside the gates of Syracuse. Inside, their people are filled with terror, deafened by your army’s trumpets and noise. Arrows rain down and you and your fellow soldiers form a barrier with your shields.

There is nothing that can stop you. The design of your shield allows you to stand in close formation, advancing on their defenders and dispatching them quickly. Even if an arrow should find its way through the cracks, your Troy Helmet will keep you protected.

Epic Armoury’s Troy Helmet is a steel helmet inspired by the armour worn by the ancient hoplites. Featuring a horsehair plumed crest and protective cheek- and nasal-guards, this round steel-capped helmet is both impressive and practical. The shape of the helmet provides exceptional protection while granting the wearer clear vision.

Secure the Troy Helmet by tightening the leather strap beneath the chin, keeping the helmet in place. Made of 1 mm thick galvanized mild steel and top-grain leather straps and fittings, this armour piece is built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather and metal armour care.

• Some speculative ancient writers suggest this style of helmet was also worn by the warrior women of Africa

You look upon your leading officer as he makes his way down the line of your fellow soldiers. Your fate and the fate of your entire unit is dependent on this veteran’s word, and you find yourself relieved not to shoulder such a heavy burden.

“We must fight!” your officer shouts for all to hear. You adjust your Warrior Shoulderplates, double checking the buckles as you listen to him continue. “For our homes and for our families, we will fight until we can fight no more!” With a resounding cheer, your fellow soldiers ready themselves for the charge. You withdraw your weapon, eager and afraid all at once.

Epic Armoury’s Warrior Shoulderplates are a set of two shoulder guards with spaulders, pauldrons and besagues. The spaulders have five ridged metal plates--or lames--overlaying one another to provide laminate protection of the upper arms. Besauges (small round convex metal shields) tied onto the spaulders with leather cords add further protection to the armpits. The shoulderplates are fastened with leather straps around the biceps and at the shoulder blade, attaching to a breast- and backplate. Epic Armoury breast- and backplates can be purchased separately and have fittings for mounting the shoulders.

The Warrior Shoulderplates are neutral in style and fully usable with other Epic Armoury metal products, giving you the freedom to customize your character’s costume.
