Developed by chemists, engineers and professional molders, Dreki Megin items are made with the durability in mind.
Constructed from expanded polymer foam, a high quality flexible safety tip, and high tensile strength fibreglass, Dreki are engineered with bringing safety to high intensity combat games.

Forging ones own blade is an epic and noble undertaking. Fraught with problems of sourcing only the finest (and game legal) materials, we are now able to offer Epic Armoury's own cores. Strong, sturdy and felixble, when combined with Epic Armoury's plastazote foam these will form the basis of any melee weapon you could possibly wish to create.

This Epic Armoury Glassfiber Core is one of our DIY products used to create your own Live Action Role Playing weapon, while still benefiting from the safety of an Epic Armoury blade. This 8mm Ø glass-fibre core is 80 cm long and is strong and flexible.

Directions for use:

There are multiple methods to creating a LARP weapon, but here are the basics! Carve closed-cell foam into your desired weapon shape and secure it around a clean and sanded Glassfiber Core. The glue will grip a sanded core better and improve durability of your new weapon. Remember to leave a safe amount of foam around the core in order to preserve its safety! When the shape you desire is achieved, dip the weapon into latex and allow to dry between layers for a smooth, protective surface.

Coat your latex equipment with a thin layer of silicone to prevent the surface from drying out, and to prolong the lifespan of your weapon. Always check your weapon for damage before and after each use. Wrap the handle with leather or cloth for a finished look.

How do you think that we, the Swiss people, were able to keep the peace in our lands, free from invaders and wars, through all the scarring conflicts of the Renaissance? While the French were fighting with straight swords, and southerners with curved ones, we had a great advantage: their blades never reached their foes. Our halberds kept the best knights at bay, and a simple battle formation could stop the most persistent riders.

The solution was really that simple. Put a longer shaft behind the blade, and you’ll stay alive longer. With our halberds, we will surely be able to keep the peace in our lands for centuries to come!

Workshop

Calimacil’s halberd head gets revamped! Safe as always with its almost indestructible foam, softer than regular Calimacil weapons, its appearance becomes more realistic than ever, with a forged metal texture and steel-coloured blade. Some silver highlights complete the illusion. It is possible to mount this halberd head on multiple shafts, like bamboo and PVC, so any character can be at home with one of these weapons.

The Tsuba is an interchangable guard for the katanas and Musashi Wakizashi. It will not fit on the Tanto or on the Ninja, which have integrated guard.

Can also replace some removable guards on many Calimacil weapons.

The acrid smell of solvent hangs in the air of your lab, mixing with the sweet and tangy perfume of oils and spices. You have been testing a new solution--when did you start? Was it this morning or yesterday? The work has taken such concentration you are uncertain just how long you have been locked away.

A job well done, you will fill three Small Potion Flasks and place them into your potion holder. These might very well come in handy.

DETAILS

Epic Armoury’s Small Potion Flask is a small neutral glass bottle with a rubber stopper. This bottle is a perfect container for extracts, perfumes, potions or other valuable, semi-fabric or magically imbued liquids. Capable of holding approximately 5 ml or 0.2 fl.oz of liquid. Make sure to clean it between uses.
