As a squire, you are up before dawn serving your Master. You are expected to have your Master’s armour polished and ready at a moment’s notice. There isn’t a moment to yourself that isn’t being spent thinking about your work. Without your Master’s blessing, you’ll never become a Knight.

Only sparingly do you have the opportunity to train your actual knightly skills, however. What personal weapon you own, a single Squire Sword, is easy enough for you to wield as you practice your cuts. One day you will be a fearsome knight. For now, you must continue to work hard.

DETAILS

Epic Armoury’s Squire Sword is a short latex-hybrid sword inspired by European medieval sidearms. The sword is 85 cm long and has a 70 cm straight double-edged blade with a central ridge. The crossguard curves toward the blade to trap incoming strikes, protecting a 10 cm detailed grip--cast and painted to look like real wood with metal embellishments.

Whether you are a squire training to become a knight or a common European soldier, this Squire Sword is our highest quality gear due to its impressive durability and detail. The blade is made from closed cell foam around a fibreglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, while the handle is a polyurethane foam cast that allows for greater detail and no maintenance. Epic Armoury’s Squire Greaves are a pair of sturdy leg guards designed to protect the shins during combat. Made from four thick full-grain leather plates fit together using tough leather cords, these greaves have great structural strength to make them last a long time and resist deformation. Comfort is also important, as these greaves feature soft split-leather lining against your skin on the inside.

Secure these greaves to your leg by adjusting the leather cord lacing to your desired tightness. The style is timeless and moderate, and is fully compatible with other Epic Armoury leather and metal armours, giving you the freedom to customize your costume.

The Ranger Shoulder Armour from Epic Armoury offers stylish shoulder protection from a combination of plain and diagonal-weaved leather pieces. Made of full-grain leather, it provides a smooth texture and sophisticated appearance. An adjustable braid-cord-piece connects the shoulder pieces with several spike-aglet strings used to attach the shoulder armour to a torso armour. The Novice II is the natural evolution of the first generation of this Squire sword. Always made of safe Calimacil foam, this sword will give you years of good use thanks to its unrivaled durability. The guard of the sword is now steel-colored and the handle is black. The blade stays silver-colored to make a unique and incredibly realistic sword.
