DETAILS

Epic Armoury’s Sabre is a sturdy latex-hybrid chopping blade with a protective crossguard. The sword is 60 cm long and has a 45 cm curved single-edged blade with a central ridge. The crossguard extends into a full handguard, protecting a 10 cm detailed handle painted to look like real leather with metal embellishments.

The blade is made from closed cell foam around a fibreglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, while the handle is a polyurethane foam cast that allows for greater detail and no maintenance. In length it resembles a small sword richly detailed with traces of wear like rust and notches. The knife is 60 cm long and has a 40 cm curved blade inspired by weapons of the First World War. The 11 cm handle is casted and painted to look like real wood with metal embellishments.
