In 1984 Morbid Masks Studios began manufacturing Latex Masks and Special Effects.
In 2008 Morbid Masks Studios stopped production of all Masks, especially it's ever popular Thin Skin Latex Masks. This was because the supplier of the special paint that gave Morbid Masks their unique characteristics terminated supply for good. The whole process relied on this paint and no other alternatives were comparable. The moulds were redundant and could not be stored; nearly all were thrown away. So ended an era.
In 2012 a new supply of paint had been found and Morbid Masks was resurrected,

Epic Effects Mastix Spirit Gum is a non-toxic adhesive for applying latex prosthetics and hair to skin. The gum is almost invisible once dried, improving the look of prosthetics. Mastix Spirit Gum is safe to use on children, but should be kept out of reach and applied only with adult supervision. The glue comes in a 12 ml bottle with screw-on lid. Inside the lid, the bottle is suited with a tiny brush helping the user apply the glue effectively.
Directions for use:
Clean the skin and the prosthetic with Mastix Spirit Gum Remover.
Apply a thin layer of glue to your prosthetic with an applicator. Let it dry completely until clear and repeat with a second layer.\
Apply the prosthetic in the desired position and hold in place for ten seconds.
Gently peel the prosthetic away from the skin starting at one corner, using the Mastix Spirit Gum Remover to dissolve the glue and to clean the skin. Then clean your skin and the prosthetic with mild soap and warm water.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Epic Effect Mastix Spirit Gum should not be used around the eyes or on mucous membranes like the lips, eyelids or on private areas. Keep away from open flames, as this product is highly flammable.
Vicious and cruel were the elves when dealing with those that did not have the perfect ears.
N.B.: After use remove all makeup and spirit gum from ears with warm soapy water and air dry on a towel. Apply talc or baby powder to ears when not in use, and store in a dry, dark place for maximum longevity.
Your Elven Ears hear the rustle of footsteps behind you. A smile crosses your delicate lips as you realize a stranger is attempting to sneak up on someone as lithe and alert as you. You are the kindred of the immortals, having honed your skills for hundreds of years. No normal mortal being can surprise you.
“Come out of hiding,” you call over your shoulder. “I know you are there.”
Again your Elven Ears pick up the faintest noise, and as you hear the ‘thwap!’ of an archer’s bow, you spin and dodge the incoming arrow. It appears some lesser creature is about to receive an important lesson about attacking an elf as powerful as you.
Epic Armoury’s Elven Ears are prosthetic ears molded in a classic pointed shape, a common sigil of the mythological elf. These latex ears add 4 cm to the human ear at the helix, and are as smooth and elegant as an elven ear should be. The ears are modelled to cover and form-fit over the outer ear, allowing for plenty of surface area in which to securely and safely glue the latex to the wearer’s skin. Application of this prosthetic is easy using Epic Effect Prosthetic Power Glue, Mastix Spirit Gum or other prosthetic adhesive.
