Though the road had so far brought no difficulties, the scout walked carefully with a measured gait along its path through the forest. At his waist, the amber eyes of a carved weasel shone out from the hilt of his weapon. Out of sight behind the scout, the rest of his small community advanced steadily across the arch of the moving sun in the direction of their hallowed great mound. Safe in the knowledge that threats would be thwarted by others like him, they filled baskets with the waning season’s fruit as they went. Their journey through this forest was long, however, and they had entered an area that connected several towns which could not be avoided. This scout’s mind wandered to memories reminiscent of last year’s bountiful foods that he would soon taste again.

As if on cue, his sharp ears caught rustling in the underbrush ahead. Barely changing his pace, he listened closely until he detected the unmistakable whistle of air that betrays people whispering. It wasn’t long before he could make out their words; these few were young ones, but their intentions were of the dangerous kind. Before the hidden teens could spot him, he set down his pack, drew his blade and let its animal’s soul blend into his. Then, with distinctly fluid movements, he slipped silently into the woods.

By the time the would-be assailants learned of his presence, it was already too late to react. He set upon them so swiftly that he appeared to them as more shadow than man and it was but moments before they were stumbling away with panicked cries of pain and fear. Satisfied with the lesson he had imparted, he retrieved his pack and resumed his course. He had left them alive but they carried with them a tale that would always mark their bodies and would strengthen old stories that spoke of a strange danger that awaited villains in the depths of the woods. Meanwhile, his people remained safe and unhindered as they traveled, their minds on holy and festive things to come…

DESCRIPTION

DETAILS

Epic Armoury’s Mempo is a leather half-mask inspired by early Asian soldiers. This mask protects the face from the bridge of the nose to the chin. Four ventilation slits allow proper airflow through the mask’s mouth, designed to be comfortably worn for long periods of time. Secure the mask to your face by tying two long cotton-weave cords around the head.

Made from 3mm thick vegetable-tanned full-grain leather, Epic Armoury’s Mempo is designed to add a great layer to your fantasy or historic costume. With the best quality materials, this mask is built to withstand extensive abuse with regular leather care.

DETAILS

Epic Armoury’s Samurai Bracers are a set of leather vambraces designed to protect the forearms and hands in combat. Made from full-grain leather, these bracers have been sculpted to comfortably follow the shape of the arms. The leather has been hardened and the edges curved to add structural strength that will ensure added protection and longevity.

Comfortably secure the Samurai Bracers by lacing the leather cords on the underside and tightly wrap the heavy cotton fabric around the wrist. Attach the handguard by gripping the cotton cord around the knuckles. Inspired by Asian traditional armour, these bracers are perfectly matched with other products from Epic Armoury’s Asian Universe.

Among the Druids, those chosen by the Owl and blessed by its wisdom are responsible to perform the great revival rituals. Guiding the Sentinels of Gaia by listening to the whispers of the forest, they reached the sacred grove, where earth and moss scented the air, and silence held reverence. Swiftly, the small community started installing the camp and cheers of anticipation of the coming ritual and festivities could be heard.

In the twilight hours the Druids gathered around a sacred stone. With a soft murmur of incantations, the Druids raised their staffs high. The owl-headed crown of the staff shimmering in the rising moonlight. Closing their eyes, they reached out with their senses, feeling the pulse of the earth beneath their feet and the heartbeat of the forest all around them. A dance of energy and resolve woven together with the threads of magic that permeated the grove. With each movement, the Druids called upon the spirits of the forest to lend their strength, their voices rising in harmony with the rustling leaves and the gentle sigh of the wind. As the ritual reached its crescendo, a sense of renewal washed over the grove, filling the air with a tangible sense of hope and vitality. The trees seemed to sway in time with the Druid's movements, their branches reaching towards the sky in silent celebration of the renewed magic that coursed through their veins. And so, beneath the watchful gaze of a perched great owl, the Druids completed their sacred task, their spirits lifted by the knowledge that they had played their part in the eternal dance of life and death that bound the forest together. With a final gesture of gratitude to the spirits of the land, they turned and signaled the start of the festivities, their hearts light with the knowledge that they had honored the ancient duty between nature and soul.

Among the druids, whispers spoke of a shadow upon the forest, a corruption unlike any they had faced. Many believed it was the work of a necromancer from the dreaded Chapter of the Seventh Seal, a master of decay and forbidden rites. Where once the forest had thrived, now twisted trees reached skyward like blackened fingers, their leaves shriveled and lifeless, and the spirits of the land had withdrawn in fear.
It was to this blighted heart that the chosen druid carried Acoriel, the Seed of Renewal. The acorn pulsed faintly in their hand, a heartbeat of hope against the necromancer’s shadow. Guided by the murmurs of the forest spirits still clinging to life, the druid stepped into the hollow where no sunlight dared enter, and where the air was thick with the stench of death.
Kneeling upon the barren soil, the druid began the ancient incantations, calling upon the light of Gaia itself. Acoriel’s runes glowed first pale green, then bright, cutting through the darkness like the first dawn. The pulse of the acorn reached into roots and soil, summoning the spirits of the forest to rise against the necromancer’s corruption.
Slowly, life returned. Tiny shoots pierced the dead earth, moss climbed over fallen trunks, and the blackened trees shivered, shedding the shadow that clung to them. The wind carried away the last remnants of the necromancer’s curse, and sunlight pierced the canopy for the first time since the rise of the corruption.
When the ritual ended, the grove had begun to awaken. Acoriel, now resting in the soil, became a guardian of life and a promise that even the darkest blight of the Seventh Seal could be overcome. And beneath the watchful eyes of druids and forest spirits alike, the eternal cycle of life resumed—restored, renewed, and eternal.

Seed of Renewal

 Acoriel, Seed of Renewal, is a sacred druidic relic shaped as a ceremonial acorn, symbol of rebirth and the endless cycle of nature. Its textured surface evokes bark and knotwork patterns, crowned with a stylized cap adorned in nature-inspired detailing. Whispers reached them of a former brother — one who had abandoned his circle to seek revelation beneath the oldest roots of the forest. Now aligned with the Cult of the Awakened, he carried a ritual dagger etched in forbidden sigils, convinced that truth could be seized by force where patience had denied him answers.
Elowen was chosen to witness. She bore Talarion, the staff entrusted to those who accept the Covenant — not of dominion, but of restraint. She was neither the most powerful nor the most celebrated among her circle. She was the one who had agreed to listen before acting, and to endure the cost of that choice. She found him in a thinning hollow where the canopy recoiled from unseen strain. His blade shimmered with a feverish sheen as he carved symbols into soil and root alike. Each incision drew a tremor from the earth below.

Covenant of the Druid

 Talarion is a staff born of covenant rather than conquest. DETAILS

Epic Armoury’s Nodachi  is a latex-hybrid sword featuring a distinctive Asian appearance with a squared guard. The sword is 140 cm long from tip to pommel, with a 105 cm slender, single-edged blade. The long detailed handle accommodates two hands and a firm, comfortable grip while on the battlefield. The handle is 24 cm long, cast and painted to look like fabric bound in a diamond patterned menuki-style.

Whether you are an honorable samurai or sneaky ninja, this Nodachi is our highest quality gear due to its impressive durability and detail. The blade is made from closed cell foam around a fibreglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, while the handle is a polyurethane foam cast that allows for greater detail and no maintenance. Tsuba not included

Like all the kids in his city, Sashi wanted to become a samurai. Before one of them, his eyes became full of stars and he thought of the encounter for days. Like any other kid, never he would have dared to take to one, so important next to his little person. Like everyone, he dreamt day and night about what he could accomplish later in life.

What took him appart from the other boys his age was his iron will. While they played, every moment he had was used for combat training, protocol lessons and martial arts practice. By 15, while they helped their parents in the fields, he was accepted as a pupil of a samurai. He would have the honour of learning from him the ancient arts. Before being a samurai himself, he could not wield the katana; his master’s wakizashi was all he needed.

Workshop

The wakizashi II is the natural evolution of a historical weapon. Made from Calimacil foam, this weapon introduces a new, thinner blade, but safe and durable as always. This blade is steel-coloured ans has silver accents for a perfect illusion. The white handle is wrapped with black ribbon while the pommel and guard are golden, for a touch of nobility and details.

Character

Historical weapon of the East, the wakizashi is a great addition to any noble warrior or pure follower of the emperor. Normally used as a secondary weapon in two-weapon fighting style, it can nontheless be used alone when needed, or as a primary weapon for smaller characters such as some mythical creatures of lore.
