Unfortunately, the folks over at Aradani are hitting their limits and this is impacting on what they can provide to us as a wholesale consumer.
We obviously get stuff much cheaper than a regular customer would be paying them for it directly and they're just unable to keep up with the demand that we, and other retailers, put on their production capacity. And while you can say "well just get more production staff", if you've ever worked in a specialised manufacturing capacity, like making your own cosplays, you know it's not that easy to just find people that can hit the ground running and make sutff exactly how you need it to be made.
What this means is that we are no longer being offered their non-latex ears, or the pre-painted options, at wholesale rates which means we can't really continue to offer them to you either after we run out the stock we have on hand.
With the cost of Australian labour we can't really afford to meet these costs directly ourselves either. To offer pre-painted ears means we'd need to charge at least an additional $15 per pair to break even on the staff time taken to pain the small elf ear tips correctly.
They're not exactly difficult to paint yourself thogh, and Aradani have this useful video demonstrating how to do it yourself:
There is unfortunately also an increase in pricing coming due to the cost of latex (there's a global shortage) and the cost of shipping which affects everything up and down the supply chain.
TLDR - increased prices and you will need to start blending the colour yourself with your own foundation and makeup.
