Location: Ballarat High School, on the Main Oval.
Event Frequency: Once Per Week. Every Monday from 6:30pm.
Type of Game: Combat LARP - There is RP, but combat is the primary focus of the game.
Setting: Generations have past since the great calamity that shook the world of Amar and humans have rebuilt and settled into nine great nations lead by the Queen of Gwynmor. But the ancient city of Annwyn has been discovered and adventurers from across the lands of Amar now arrive seeking fame, fortune, glory and knowledge.
Will you be a shining knight or a desert assassin? A monster hunter looking for coin or an alchemist hoping to find new concoctions? A scholar hoping to discover ancient wisdom or perhaps an archeologist eager to delve deep into the catacombs of the forgotten city.
Set in an original fantasy world inspired by a mix of Arthurian legends, Tolkien and The Brothers Grimm, Tales of Amar is waiting for you to tell your tale.
Session Fee: $14.00 per session.
Typical Attendance per Event: 30-50 attendees
Age Restrictions: 15+
Minimum Requirements For New Players: Minimum clothing requirements are black or brown baggy pants and a shirt with no logo. Bringing a LARP-safe weapon is preferable, but equipment can be loaned if needed.
