Full ear covers. Just glue in place with spirit gum or theatrical/stage glue. These ear prosthetics can be painted with water or alcohol based make-up and reused many times. After each use just remove any glue residue, wash away any makeup and dirt in warm soapy water, dry, and store in a plastic bag in a cool dark place.

Aradani Studios elf ears are considered by many as the best costume prosthetics in the world. These are hand-crafted in our home studio by the artists of Aradani with attention to detail and quality.

Not only do we hand make and inspect each set of ears, we try to use the highest quality materials we can find. Often on the road we are told our ears last for years of use, with some people coming back with the same ears after 6-7 years of wearing them!  You can attach these ears with spirit gum or liquid latex (personally we recommend spirit gum). The seam lines can be blended with latex or hidden with the use of an ear cuff as shown in the picture.

These are handcrafted in our home studio, by the artists of Aradani, with attention to detail and quality. 

Aradani Studios was founded in 2002 by the Bielaczyc siblings, Michael, Paul and Sara. Their original intention was to work at the Tennessee Renaissance Festival as a part-time endeavor, a way for them to spend time together and have some fun selling artwork. So many people were interested in Paul's elven costume, particularly the pointed ears, that the they decided that they would add elf ears to the business. The following weekend, the Bielaczyc's began what Aradani Studios is best known for: hand-painting elf ears to blend in naturally with people's skin tone.

What began as a once a year activity for the brothers expanded in 2003 to include three Renaissance festivals and multiple conventions around the country. During this time, Aradani Studios carried a variety of other brands, but didn't manufacture any of their own products. However, with customers requesting custom prosthetics at every show, they decided it was time to expand.

Starting early in 2005, they began sculpting and producing their own line of prosthetics, by 2007, over 90% of the products they sold were created in house, made and manufactured in Nashville, Tennessee. Customers all over the world have enjoyed Aradani elf ears and masks.

Aside from latex prosthetics and jewelry, Michael and Paul Bielaczyc are acclaimed fantasy artists, winning awards all over the country and working for companies such as Dragonlance and Apex Digest. Their work can be seen in shows across the Southeast and various publications.

Epic Effects’ Water Based Make Up is a deep-pigmented compact powder makeup. Perfect as a foundation or as a shade, this makeup provides great cover of the skin and on other materials such as foam latex or natural fabrics. Water-based makeup is easily removed, but still resistant to perspiration--especially when reinforced with a layer of Setting Spray.

Water Based Makeup contains an intense amount of pigment in order to deliver a lot of mileage in a small tin. The colour dries matte, reducing the need to post-treat or powder.

The Water Based Makeup comes in a 20 ml tin.

Directions for use:

Apply makeup using a moist brush or sponge. Great for use on the face, but can also be used all over the body--including delicate skin around the eyes. Can also be used to colour beards, hair, or moustaches. Seal the finished makeup with Epic Effects Setting Spray.

Removal:

Remove makeup with mild soap and warm water.

Safely attach prosthetics to your face and skin.

Epic Effects Mastix Spirit Gum is a non-toxic adhesive for applying latex prosthetics and hair to skin. The gum is almost invisible once dried, improving the look of prosthetics. Mastix Spirit Gum is safe to use on children, but should be kept out of reach and applied only with adult supervision. The glue comes in a 12 ml bottle with screw-on lid. Inside the lid, the bottle is suited with a tiny brush helping the user apply the glue effectively.

Directions for use:

• Clean the skin and the prosthetic with Mastix Spirit Gum Remover.
• Apply a thin layer of glue to your prosthetic with an applicator. Let it dry completely until clear and repeat with a second layer.\
• Apply the prosthetic in the desired position and hold in place for ten seconds.

Removal:

Gently peel the prosthetic away from the skin starting at one corner, using the Mastix Spirit Gum Remover to dissolve the glue and to clean the skin. Then clean your skin and the prosthetic with mild soap and warm water.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Epic Effect Mastix Spirit Gum should not be used around the eyes or on mucous membranes like the lips, eyelids or on private areas. Keep away from open flames, as this product is highly flammable.

DETAILS

Epic Effects’ Brown Rodent is a full mask with a rodent-like appearance, a mutated sewer rat that has been exposed to too much radiation. Featuring a long nose, huge pointy teeth bared in a snarl, and big attentive ears, don this mask to take on the appearance of a terrifying rat man. The skin is textured with scars, creases and furrows, made to appear like a cross between fur and skin with hand painted detail. The eyes are large with good visibility.

The mask fits over your face and chin, moving with your natural jaw movement. The mask is made from thick 100% natural high-quality latex, making it strong and durable, ensuring long life and extended reuse. The mask is made with good room for breathing and ventilation, and is fitted with a silken cotton sheet on the inside to improve the comfort with extended wear. The look and style of the mask can be modified by highlighting it with Epic Effects' Water Based Makeup from event to event.
