Feral Vampire Latex Nose and Forehead Prosthetic. Apply to the skin with Spirit Gum/Mastic (not included).

The prosthetic is slip cast latex. It is of uniform thickness. Only the edge is glued where it sits flat to the skin. This edge is not feathered but it can be concealed using latex or a combination of latex and thickener. Normal spirit gum is suitable to apply the prosthetic, and any water-based face paint, or even alcohol based can be used to paint it. If the prosthetic is to be used under hot stage lighting or in conditions where a grease paint is preferred, use oil based cream make up after the latex has been coated with caster sealer, alternatively use rubber mask grease paint which is specially formulated with extra oil added to it. It is much easier to pre-paint the prosthetic prior to fitting. The prosthetic can be re-used multiple times. It may be necessary to trim the edge to fit. It can be cleaned with gum removers and/or soap and warm water.

Liquid latex for creating and repairing your weapons

This Epic Armoury Clear Latex is one of our DIY products used to create or repair your own Live Action Role Playing weapon. Made from natural rubber, this latex comes in a 100ml bottle and can be used to coat your completed foam weapon with a protective and aesthetically pleasing clear coating.

Directions for use:

There are multiple methods to creating a LARP weapon, but here are the basics! Carve closed-cell foam into your desired weapon shape and secure it around a clean and sanded fibreglass core. Remember to leave a safe amount of foam around the core in order to preserve its safety! When the shape you desire is achieved, dip the weapon into latex and allow to dry between layers for a smooth, protective surface.

Coat your latex equipment with a thin layer of silicone to prevent the surface from drying out, and to prolong the lifespan of your weapon. Always check your weapon for damage before and after each use. Wrap the handle with leather or cloth for a finished look.

This bestselling Epic Effects Power Glue is a strong, water-based adhesive for applying latex prosthetics and hair to skin. This strong, water-based Prosthetic Power Glue is a professional non-toxic product. It contains no perfumes or artificial colors. It forms a strong, clear, and water resistant bond to the skin and remains sticky, unlike other skin glues. It is safe to use on skin, including the face and ears.

Prosthetic Power Glue is safe to use on children, but should be kept out of reach and applied only with adult supervision.

The glue comes in a 50 ml bottle with screw-on lid. Inside the lid, the bottle is suited with a tiny brush helping the user apply the glue effectively.

Directions for use:

1. Clean the skin and the prosthetic with rubbing alcohol.
2. Apply a thin layer of glue to your prosthetic with an applicator. Let it dry completely until clear and repeat with a second layer.
3. Apply the prosthetic in the desired position and hold in place for ten seconds.

Removal:

Gently peel the prosthetic away from the skin starting at one corner, using the Prosthetic Power Glue Remover to dissolve the glue and to clean the skin. Then clean your skin with soap and water and clean the prosthetic with alcohol.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Prosthetic Power Glue should not be used around the eyes or on mucous membranes like the lips, eyelids or on private areas.
