Smash it with a Hammer!
Dark Moon’s Steel Pipe Hammer is a 65 cm latex and foam pipe, shaped into an improvised bludgeoning weapon. This product is handpainted and intricately sculpted to look like steel with a worn, rusted finish. Fine tread embellishments paired with a tee fitting and end caps give the pipe its hammer-like shape, featuring a 23 cm long head perfect for undead headshots. Comfortable suede leather provides a secure grip, wrapped around the bottom 15 cm long.
The Steel Pipe Hammer is not hollow, but is constructed from EVA foam around a solid 8 mm fibreglass rod. This design is ultimately made with safety in mind. It is finished with a durable layer of latex to prevent shredding and to give it a realistic, smooth surface.
More than a Pipe
- An example of a weapon you might find after the world-as-we-know-it ends
- Used as protection when you’ve inevitably run out of bullets for your gun
- Pipes are straight cylinders typically used to move liquids and gases, and require fittings such and elbows, tees, and couplings
- An ironic weapon of choice for many LARPers who have built boffers with plumbing supplies over the years
HEEEERE'S JOHHNY!
The undead have found your hiding hole, and you are nearly cornered by an endless sea of flesh-hungry abominations. You’re barely able to escape, but not without losing your gun. You’re practically defenseless.
You take refuge in an abandoned fire station, looking for a new weapon. Most people have thought the same thing, because the place is picked clean. You are lucky, however, as you stumble upon an overturned desk. Beneath the mess you find an intact Fire Axe. Giving it a few test swings, you find that you like the weight as it cuts straight through wood. It might be very useful.
DETAILS
Dark Moon’s Fire Axe is a versatile weapon, popular in the post-apocalypse. Designed to look like a real fire axe, this latex replica weapon features a red chopping blade and a sturdy spike on the reverse side. The axe is 92 cm long, with a 13 cm long head and 10 cm straight edge blade. The 10 cm long reverse spike curves back like a claw. The Axe head is attached to an 85 cm long handle, designed to look like wood coated in black paint.
Made from durable closed cell foam around a solid fibreglass core, and finished with a strong latex coating, you can feel confident that this LARP weapon will provide the safety and appeal you want when crafting your post-apocalyptic kit.
HISTORY
- First hafted axe was created about 6,000 B.C. using birch-tar and raw-hide lashings to fix the blade to its handle
- Fire axe’s primary use is to break down doors and windows
Did you see some Turtles?
The vast wastelands are dangerous, and so you are armed to the teeth. Guns, knives, and even a chainsaw are kept handy should the specific need arise to use them. Your favourite, however, is your Sewer Shield.
The large piece of metal is practically indestructible. It’s a tried and true way of protecting yourself from your enemies, and it makes you look especially tough being able to easily carry such an enormous weight.
DETAILS
Dark Moon’s Sewer Shield is a realistic looking latex manhole cover, designed to be used against raider bullets and zombie claws alike. The Sewer Shield is sculpted and handpainted to look like heavy metal, with two fat iron chains running through it. In the center of its 60 cm diameter, the word ‘STORM’ is carved on the face.
Wear this Riot Shield left- or right-handed with the use of four versatile leather arm straps on the back. Feel confident that this hard EVA foam and latex shield will withstand the continued abuse of a LARP with regular latex maintenance.
HISTORY
- Manhole covers have been used since Ancient Rome
- Designed to keep unauthorized people and objects out of the sewer system
I tell you off in the facts like Ralph and Ethel
I can't be in the Valley doin the Hollywood Shuffle
My voice tenor like the Whispers
Your girl adapt to me in unison
Tight outfits like the Spinners
- Theme for Lucille Ball
We Are All Negan...
Dark Moon’s Wood Barbed Wire Bat is a foam baseball bat that has been given a rather formidable upgrade. Designed to look like a wooden bat with barbed wire wrapped around its end, this is the ultimate weapon for a post-apocalyptic fighter. Whether you’re instilling fear in the hearts of your minions, or taking out hordes of zombies, ol’ Lucille has got your back.
This 80 cm long Barbed Wire Bat has a 17 cm handle wrapped in soft brown split-leather, and also features the typical baseball bat knob at the end. The rest of the bat is hand painted like wood grain with faded colouring, with metallic strands of wire and flexible barbs around the end.
Made from durable closed cell foam around a 10 mm solid fibreglass rod and finished with a strong latex coating, this bat will be a great addition at your next Live Action Role Play (LARP) game or Negan cosplay.
For Hitting More than Home Runs
- This bat is similar to the weapon used by the villain Negan in the post-apocalyptic comic and TV show, The Walking Dead
- An example of a weapon you might find after the world-as-we-know-it ends
- Used as protection when you’ve inevitably run out of bullets
- Many modern bats are made from aluminum and are capable of hitting a ball harder and faster than a wooden bat
The Lead Pipe - Large Has been Discontinued
Right! Let's bash some noggins!
The undead have found your hiding hole, and you are nearly cornered by an endless sea of flesh-hungry abominations. You’re barely able to escape, but not without losing your gun. You’re practically defenseless.
You happen upon a junkyard. It’s an area that gives you the creeps, but you’re desperate to find a new weapon. That’s when you spot the Lead Pipe sticking out of a pile of refuse. You pull the metal free, giving it a few test swings. It will suit your needs for now.
DETAILS
Dark Moon’s Lead Pipe may lack some sophistication, but it makes up for it with plenty of weight and impact. This 52 cm long latex pipe is handpainted to look like tarnished metal. A sculpted tread at both ends of the straight bar serves as a grip and an attachment to a 5 cm long bend. Though not hollow all the way through, the lead pipe is hollow at the ends to add to its realistic appearance.
Plumbers looking for piping material are advised that this item may be better for slaying zombies in the post-apocalypse than running water to a sink. Made from durable closed cell foam around a solid fibreglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, you can feel confident that this LARP weapon will provide the safety and appeal you want when crafting your post-apocalyptic kit.

If you don't think Bunnings isn't the first place you should be going as civilization crumbles, you have NOT prepared for the Apocalypse...
Improvised Weapon Proficiency
Dark Moon’s Pipe Sap is a 40 cm latex pipe, handpainted to look like steel with a worn finish. This improvised short weapon goes beyond a simple metal pipe, with intricately sculpted details to give it a realistic appearance. Fine sculpted tread embellishes each end of the bar and a 7 cm external coupling is fitted to the top like a small mace head. Comfortable 12 cm long suede leather is wrapped around the bottom, providing a secure grip when the gore is too thick.
Post-apocalyptic plumbers looking for piping material are advised that this item may be better for fighting than crafting. The Pipe Sap is not hollow, but is constructed from durable closed cell foam with a core of flexible tubing and finished with a strong latex coating.. Safety is important and incorporated in this design--because we don’t actually want you to hurt your friends dressed up as amazing zombies! It is finished with a durable layer of latex to prevent shredding and to give it a realistic, smooth surface.
