Right! Let's bash some noggins!
The undead have found your hiding hole, and you are nearly cornered by an endless sea of flesh-hungry abominations. You’re barely able to escape, but not without losing your gun. You’re practically defenseless.
You happen upon a junkyard. It’s an area that gives you the creeps, but you’re desperate to find a new weapon. That’s when you spot the Lead Pipe sticking out of a pile of refuse. You pull the metal free, giving it a few test swings. It will suit your needs for now.
DETAILS
Dark Moon’s Lead Pipe may lack some sophistication, but it makes up for it with plenty of weight and impact. This 52 cm long latex pipe is handpainted to look like tarnished metal. A sculpted tread at both ends of the straight bar serves as a grip and an attachment to a 5 cm long bend. Though not hollow all the way through, the lead pipe is hollow at the ends to add to its realistic appearance.
Plumbers looking for piping material are advised that this item may be better for slaying zombies in the post-apocalypse than running water to a sink. Made from durable closed cell foam around a solid fibreglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, you can feel confident that this LARP weapon will provide the safety and appeal you want when crafting your post-apocalyptic kit.
INSPIRATION
- An example of a weapon you might find after the world-as-we-know-it ends
- Used as protection when you’ve inevitably run out of bullets for your gun
The trick is never to stay in one place for too long. Inevitably the undead will sniff you out of your hiding hole, and you’ll find yourself cornered by an endless sea of flesh-hungry abominations. Unfortunately, while you’re on the move, your last encounter emptied the last of your bullets. With an empty gun you’re defenseless.
You take refuge in an abandoned garage, looking for a new weapon. That’s when you spot the Baseball Bat tucked away on a shelf behind a few flat footballs and basketballs. You give it a few test swings, liking the balance. It will suit your needs nicely.
DETAILS
Dark Moon’s Baseball Bat is a stick designed for hitting home runs…if you can find any in the post-apocalyptic wastelands. This 85 cm long bat has a 30 cm handle wrapped in soft brown split-leather and has the typical baseball bat knob at the end. The rest of the bat is metallic with a green tint, fading to black with the words ‘Dark Moon’ painted in deep red letters.
Grandparents looking for Dark Moon Baseball Team merchandise for their kids are advised that this item may be better for slaying zombies in the post-apocalypse than hitting home runs. Made from durable closed cell foam around a solid fibreglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, you can feel confident that your LARP weapon will provide the safety and appeal you want when crafting your post-apocalyptic kit.
INSPIRATION
- An example of a weapon you might find after the world-as-we-know-it ends
- Used as protection when you’ve inevitably run out of bullets for your gun
- Metal bats are usually made from aluminum and generally capable of hitting a ball harder and faster than a wooden bat
Before you pop down to the Winchester for a cold one and wait for this to all blow over, you might have to crack a few skulls.
Maybe get out the duct tape and strap a knife to the end of this one?
The Toolbox Classic
Epic Armoury’s Claw Hammer is a 55 cm foam imitation of an everyday workshop hammer, typically used for driving or pulling nails from wood. Hammers like this have been used since even before the 1600s--specifically seen in an etching from 1514--so it’s perfect for fantasy and modern post-apocalyptic LARPs alike.
Made from foam around an 8 mm solid fibreglass rod and coated in durable latex, this Claw Hammer is safe for your next game or children’s theater production. It is designed to provide only light force to your neighborhood friendly zombie, unlike its metal and wood counterpart.
The Claw Hammer has a 48.5 cm grip, hand painted to look like real wood grain, and a 19 cm head that curves into a V-shaped claw. The head is 5 cm across and is also hand painted with a metal-like finish. While it is great as a carpenter’s prop, we also feel this product works as a great impromptu weapon against radioactive beasts and raiders! It’s always handy to have something like that lying around.
A Woodworker’s Tool
- This LARP weapon resembles a true, two-piece claw hammer
- The claw of a real claw hammer is curved and forked to help pull nails from wood
- A framing hammer is another type of claw hammer similar to this one, with a larger head and straighter claw
This Shovel Ain’t Made for Diggin’
Dark Moon’s Sapper Shovel is a 60 cm spade made from foam, handcrafted to imitate the Russian MPL-50 entrenching tool for your cosplay or LARP needs. This particular military shovel would have been used not for digging, but for close quarter combat (and sometimes as a cooking tool or paddle)! Their wood handles were polished--not painted--and shaped to perfectly fit in the hand, minimizing the danger of fighting in wet conditions. Our imitation captures this same gritty, dangerous feel.
Constructed from EVA foam around a solid fibreglass rod, this Sapper Shovel is finished with a durable layer of latex to prevent shredding and to give it a realistic, smooth surface. The handle is carved and hand painted to look like real wood grain, while the head has a nice rusted, dirty looking finish.
The shovel’s head is not actually useful for digging or cooking, but it is great for hitting zombies at your favorite post-apocalyptic game! It includes fine, realistic details like nail heads and overlapping plates. Use this improvised weapon against grease gangs, walking dead, and radioactive insects--and look authentically cool in the process.
An Essential Russian Tool!
- Entrenching tools were used in ancient times by Roman legionnaires to dig ditches around their camps
- The Sapper Shovel, also called the MPL-50, was invented by a Danish officer in 1869
- The MPL-50 was used by the Russian Empire, Soviet Union, and beyond for close combat
LEGEND
Me? I no longer trust all this technology that has so often betrayed us all. When I need to crush the skulls of zombies, break mutant heads or send the teeth of bandits flying, I have but one allegiance. I devoted myself body and soul to Bertha, a Spanner I ripped from the claws of a zombie 5 years ago. It hasn’t left my side ever since. It is the anchor that keeps me stable in this infernal river that serves us as a poor excuse for existence. The day that she’ll leave me will be the day I fall in combat.
WORKSHOP
Big Bertha is a remarkably faithful replica of a very large spanner similar to the ones we see in horror flicks where blood, gore and zombie parts fly everywhere. Like our other long weapons of our workshop, Big Bertha features a firm shape that does stands during fights yet remains soft and flexible enough to prevent injuries. Don’t leave it lying; your father-in-law could mistake it for the real thing.Founded in 2004 in the cold windswept plains of the eastern Canada, Calimacil set out from its inception to become a world-class supplier of high-end LARP and historical re-enactment foam weapons. Our lavishly decorated designs are inspired by the martial lore of history, legends and stories taken directly from the dreamscapes of heroic fantasy. Our products are manufactured by an eager band of artisans made of passionate LARP players, martial arts practitioners and hardcore gamers. Playing is a fundamental part of the company's ethos as it focuses our creative energies and drives us to create new exciting weapons models. best foam weapon to play with.

The underdark is your domain. In the pitch blackness, the smell of damp earth all around, you wait with your raiding party. When night falls on the lands above, you will emerge.
The sun-lovers have come to fear you and the silence in which you strike. With your Bone Blade, you are able to maneuver in the shadows until your target is exactly where you want them. You are formidable. You are the assassin.

INSPIRATION

- J.R.R. Tolkien mentions dark elves, the “Moriquendi” in The Silmarillion
- Have also been referred to as “Drow” in the Dungeons & Dragons universe, made famous by R.A. Salvatore’s The Dark Elf Trilogy
Wheher it is an epic sword of flame, or a Blade of Bacon, the Hellfire is a weapon that will strike fear and jealousy into the hearts of your enemies.
War is all that you know. For your clan, war is a permanent state of being. Just as you need meat to sustain you and leather armour to protect your leathery green skin, war keeps your thirst for chaos and violence sated.
Your clan now gathers to prepare for the war against the goblins. The creatures used to be your allies, but in the last battle they became cowardly and ran. Now there is nothing more to be done than to hunt down every one of them and serve them over your fire.
You begin by picking up Hellfire, the blade that burns alongside your rage.
DETAILS
Epic Armoury’s Hellfire is a medium length sword designed as part of the Orc Universe collection. Carefully handpainted deep gradient reds and oranges, Hellfire appears to be burning from intense magic. The 60 cm double-edged blade is notched and worn, connected to a dark metal coloured crossguard which protects the 15 cm ergonomic handle. The handle is wrapped in split-leather for a secure and comfortable grip, and ends with a crudely gemmed pommel.
Made from durable closed cell foam around a fibreglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, you can feel confident that your LARP weapon will provide the safety and appeal you want when crafting your Orc-inspired kit.
INSPIRATION
- Earliest references to orcs are found in Old English and Anglo-Saxon sources, such as in Beowulf and in 16th century Italian folktales

- J.R.R. Tolkien’s 20th century The Lord of the Rings series describes orcs as brutish, aggressive beings with a taste for human flesh
- Tolkien’s writings influenced many role-playing games, and are now seen in such games as Dungeons and Dragons, Warhammer and Warcraft
