Epic Armoury’s Reinforced Tower Shield is a long rectangular shaped latex shield inspired by the scutum shield and the military tactics of Ancient Rome. It is one of our biggest shields with all laser cut and hand painted details to create a realistic wood grain and metal texture. The frontside shows off three transverse metal rims and a metallic-painted boss in the centre. Epic Armoury’s Roman Shield is a tower shield inspired by the formidable scutum of Ancient Rome. Hexagonally shaped with an elongated base, this 120 cm long shield features a decorated face that has been carved and hand painted to look like golden textured wings on a deep red background. At the centre sits a large shield boss designed to deflect weapons. The edge is rimmed with a brass coloured band with studs.

An Ancient Warrior

Epic Armoury’s Black Auxiliary Shield is a semi-curved shield taken from the ancient world of Roman legionnaires. Take up your oval shield and prepare to fight beside your fellow soldiers, relying on its 90 cm length to protect against wayward spears and arrows. Convince your friends to get their own and form a devastating shield wall!

The Black Auxiliary Shield is made of EVA foam and is handpainted with a glossy black finish and a metallic rim. The rim is sculpted to look like real iron, complete with small nail heads. The details continues on the backside, with a faux-metal rim around the reinforced punch grip. This grip is 14 cm long and wrapped in suede leather for a comfortable feel that can be used left- or right-handed! Keep your shield in great condition with regular latex maintenance.

The Black Auxilliary Shield  is Epic Armoury's offering for those that need a large shield, but also want to have a surface to customise to their team's or character's exacting requirements.

Fight in Formation
