No matter if your lawless deeds are perceived to be of rightful reasons or of a more dubious motive, a hood will help you, when you must stay faceless. It is the perfect finishing touch when crafting your LARP-kit for your heroic woodsman or your cunning thief!

Epic Armoury’s Hood Adventurer is a hood with a short mantle and long hood tail. The mantle covers the shoulders, keeping the upper chest covered, while the roomy hood can be pulled down to cover part of the face. Made of a rougher fabric than our Basic Hood, this hood provides protection from the elements without being too warm in potential heat.

Wear this hood by simply slipping it over your head--it’s easy and comfortable. Hoods are great garments for rounding off your look, and the Hood Adventurer is a traditional layer that fits a wide variety of character types.

Epic Armoury's Mercenary Sword is part of the Vanguard line, and it takes its design cues from the longswords of mediaeval Europe, with a grip designed for both one and two-handed usage. The crossguard is smaller than most European swords, allowing for a greater range of movement when using the blade. The hilt is made from polyurethane and has a high degree of detailing, as it is sculpted to resemble wood reinforced with rivets and gold bands, while the hilt and pommel are steel coloured with gold detailing. The hilt guarantees a great grip for the wielder. The blade is made from closed-cell polyurethane foam and coloured to look as lifelike as possible. Unlike most LARP weapons, the Vanguard line requires virtually no maintenance beyond checking for wear and tear in the form of cuts or breaks.

The bestselling Epic Armoury Stiletto is a solid dagger with a comfortable split-leather wrapped handle. The crossguard has a simple and elegant design, protecting the 13 cm grip when in use. Pants. They go on your legs.

You tighten your belt another notch over your Basic Pants, frowning at the watered-down soup over the fire. It’s been a long winter, and you and your family aren’t sure you’re going to have enough food. As you consider ways you might be able to afford some meat--maybe you can do some work for a merchant in town?--there’s an anxious knock on the door.

“Raiders!” shouts the messenger on your doorstep. “Raiders are coming! Every able person is being called to fight!”

Suddenly an empty belly is the least of your worries.

Epic Armoury’s Basic Pants are classic medieval-cut pants with a few convenient modern alterations, such as the sizeable pockets. Made from durable medium cotton, these pants feature adjustable cotton drawstrings along the hems to achieve the gathered effect so popular in medieval clothing.

The pants are fitted with a cotton drawstring at the waist to keep the pants in place while leaving sufficient room for a proper belt. The look is universal and can fit a barbarian invading Rome, a medieval mercenary or a renaissance harquebusier. The Basic Pants are fully compatible with other Epic Armoury clothes and armours, allowing you the freedom to personalize your character's gear.

Inspired by the mediaeval gugel hood style from Germany, the Fimbul Hood is made from herring-bone pattern wool with polyester light and dark brown fur trim. It works well on top of another garment, as they were normally worn in the Middle Ages. Typically, this would be a shirt or a tunic, where the hood was added as extra protection from the weather, especially in winter with the fur trim. It ties together at the neck with a leather cord so that you can adjust it to fit.
