Draug Sword

The again-walker's eyes were lit with balefire. It had died a hero, but had still been denied entry to the Valhall. It had been tasked with standing vigil inside the burial chambers in case the people of Eyri ever came returned to take back what had once been theirs. The only comfort to be found in its sluggish thoughts, as black as the skin of the draug itself, was that at least its sword could change size with it and slay even a fierce jotunn.

This Way Evil Comes

Epic Armoury’s Draug Sword is a medium latex LARP sword inspired by high-fantasy villains and undead creatures. The sword is 115 cm long and has a straight double-edged blade with two fullers. The 19cm wide crossguard is hand painted and textured to look like worn and chipped steel, embellished with a skeleton face cast in polyurethane foam. The matching pommel has a common ‘scent-stopper’ shape often seen throughout the middle ages. Much like a real sword, the grip also features a grooved and ergonomic shape, and is wrapped in a layer of dark leather.

Whether you are a necromancer or the dead come to life, this sword is offers incredible quality due to its durability and detail. The blade is made from EVA foam around a 10mm solid fibreglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, while the handle is a polyurethane foam cast that requires little maintenance. A Blade for the Hearty and Agile Fighter

Epic Armoury’s Caprine Sword is a hybrid LARP sword inspired by fantasy and designed to fit in the hands of the mountainous rangers we so love. Featuring a long latex blade with a deep fuller and a scalloped ricasso, the Caprine is a longsword handmade and hand painted to look like real steel with a brass ram hilt. The pommel is sculpted to look like a cloven hoof.

The Caprine Sword’s blade is made out of soft EVA foam around a 10 mm solid fibreglass rod core--chosen for its durability and safety. It is coated with latex for its smooth appearance and to minimize shredding. The 34 cm handle is made of polyurethane for its high detail, and the 14 cm grip is wrapped in leather.

• Caprine means resembling or relating to a goat
• Commonly referred to as a “broadsword,” which is actually a historically incorrect term

This work of art is an original design from our team of designers at Calimacil. The inspiration came from the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Every part of the handle is highly detailed, from the Chainmail of the Knight in the pommel visible to the two demonic horses heads in the guard. There is always a new detail to discover. Epic Armoury's Assassin Sword is a cruel medium sword that looks capable of inflicting a lot of pain. The sword is 85 cm long and designed with a 67 cm curved blade with numerous serrations and chips to give it an aggressive and used look. The cross guard is slightly angled, extending into talons the protect the long handle wrapped in black split-leather. The handle is oval-shaped, allowing you to shift your hands for a perfect grip.

The Assassin Sword is imagined for evil assassins, but can be used anywhere and is a great weapon if you want your mark to suffer at the end.
