Epic Armoury’s Viking Leg Protection is a set of greaves inspired by ancient splint armour. At first glance, the Viking Leg Protection may appear fragile, but don’t let that fool you! These greaves can be worn over leather or clothing, and the vertical steel strips offer excellent protection of your shins without encumbering you or hindering your mobility.

Three leather straps are used to keep each of the Viking Leg Protection greaves in place. Made of 1 mm mild galvanized steel and top-grain leather straps and fittings, these armour pieces are built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather and metal armour care.

Epic Armoury’s Seax knife is a very utilitarian knife, with a flat single edged, 38 CM blade ending in a very sharp tip. This splendid 102 cm sword has a 67 cm fullered blade designed to be lightweight while maintaining its structural stability. Made from EVA foam surrounding a fibreglass core and finished with a strong and impressive paintwork, this sword is just as soft as any latex coated weapon but even more sturdy in battle, and another significant addition to the Stronghold line! 

The longer version exhibits a 20 cm long, highly detailed spacer made from polyurethane foam, that is sculpted and hand painted to resemble real leather with cross- stitching.The golden crossguard features an elaborate serpent-like embellishment, and the handle is cast and painted to look like realistic hardwood with a crescent gold-pommel at the bottom.

Due to the density of the blade, there is a chance of paint being rubbed off due to the friction caused when the blade and another dry surface makes contact. To mitigate this, we advise you to coat the blade with a thin layer of silicone, which will reduce the friction and in turn stress on the paint

It has a 22 cm long axe-head with an 8 cm tall blade, hand painted to look like real metal, notched with wear. The head is actually made of soft foam, reinforced with a harder foam core. LEGEND

Everyone knows the story of the enchanted axe Ymir, the one that allowed Odin to defeat the ice giant of the same name. This ferocious weapon was later stolen by Loki. But few people know that the OdinAxe was created as a tribute to the god of gods to highlight this legendary fight against the giant.
