Everyone knows the story of the enchanted axe Ymir, the one that allowed Odin to defeat the ice giant of the same name. This ferocious weapon was later stolen by Loki. But few people know that the OdinAxe was created as a tribute to the god of gods to highlight this legendary fight against the giant.

This eponymously named Norse weapon embodies the pride and combat prowess of a fearsome warrior. In addition to the Celtic wolves on its blade, its handle features the symbols of Odin, namely his 2 crows Huginn and Muninn. On the pommel, we find a Valknut, the heart of Hrungnir, the knot of the dead and the knot of Odin. Linked to it, this symbol of three and nine evokes valor and death (in the sense of the liberation of the soul) and the roots of Yggdrasil (in the sense of the interconnection of the nine worlds of the Norse religion).

Thus, it is not surprising to find such a weapon among the arsenal of several factions of Scandinavian warriors. Its symbolism is energizing and even phenomenal, it is simply a fantastic creation.

Epic Armoury's new Epic Black Ragnar Chainmail is a flexible mail armour shirt made from linked steel rings. The mail covers the body from the shoulder to the thighs, and has long sleeves protecting the arms to the wrists. Each butted ring interlocks with four other rings in a 4-in-1 design, while the armpits are reinforced with riveted rings designed to cope with additional stress. CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Natural horn products are ABSOLUTELY NOT DISHWASHER SUITABLE.

To clean, place in warm soapy water, and brush gently with a bottle brush. With use, the wax may begin to peel back from the wall naturally. It can easily be re-adhered by adding more wax. Purchase a block of pure bees wax and gently melt it onto the affected area, thumbing the area closed and sealed again.

Cracks in horn may be fixed with the application of dish-washer safe "ModPodge", available on request at your local Spotlight or craft store.

Do not use for hot beverages. Do not use for alcoholic beverages higher than 20% ABV. Do not place in boiling liquid or put boiling liquid inside horn. Do not drop. Consume contents responsibly.

The Viking Compass

• Vegvísir is an Icelandic word for ‘wayfinder’ and is a magical symbol that--when carried--meant that you would never lose your way in bad weather

In old-Norse, ‘Krieger‘ is the name given to fierce warriors that have seen and survived many battles. This Viking axe displays symbolism of the wolf, distinguishing itself by its unique style and for what it represents. This axe made its first appearance in the hands of a group of Viking veterans on a distant island called Arisan.

The rumours concerning theses axes were that they had been especially enchanted to be Wolfsegen, special talismans known to grant power over wolves and werewolves.

Wether or not these are just legends, when you do meet a group of guards of the great Jarl, a wandering skald or even just one Viking with a Krieger in his possession, I can only offer you one piece of advice: stay wary, as this may be your last battle! Such is the reputation of this fabulous weapon!

The Krieger axe features a steel head with a celtic wolf engraved. The black handle imitates leather for a firm grip, while the pommel is shaped like the head of an incredibly detailed dire wolf. The whole axe is made of our unique Calimacil foam, so it will stay safe even after countless battles!
