Ranger Greaves - Leather

The Epic Armoury Ranger Greaves are beautiful leather greaves designed to protect the calves. The armour is constructed from full-grain leather straps and weaved together to create a beautiful design beneath a full-grain leather frame. Sturdy full-grain leather straps and brass buckles secure the armor to the leg.

The sturdy stitching keeps the armour from deforming with excessive wear. This armour was made for our Ranger Armour Set but has a style that will fit with other Epic Armoury armour sets and almost any costuming combination.

As a squire, you are up before dawn serving your Master. You are expected to have your Master’s armour polished and ready at a moment’s notice. There isn’t a moment to yourself that isn’t being spent thinking about your work. Without your Master’s blessing, you’ll never become a Knight.

Only sparingly do you have the opportunity to train your actual knightly skills, however. What personal weapon you own, a single Squire Sword, is easy enough for you to wield as you practice your cuts. One day you will be a fearsome knight. For now, you must continue to work hard.

Epic Armoury’s Squire Sword is a short latex-hybrid sword inspired by European medieval sidearms. The sword is 85 cm long and has a 70 cm straight double-edged blade with a central ridge. The crossguard curves toward the blade to trap incoming strikes, protecting a 10 cm detailed grip--cast and painted to look like real wood with metal embellishments.

Whether you are a squire training to become a knight or a common European soldier, this Squire Sword is our highest quality gear due to its impressive durability and detail. The blade is made from closed cell foam around a fibreglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, while the handle is a polyurethane foam cast that allows for greater detail and no maintenance. This hybrid model sword will make you confident in the safety and appeal of your weapon on the battlefield.

Epic Armoury’s Sword Belt offers more versatility and support than a standard waist belt as a means to carry your sword. Using braided full-grain leather, this belt is both durable and attractive and is designed so that your sword’s weight will be more evenly distributed while resting on the hip. The belt strap is secured using a brass buckle around the waist, while a second leather strap hangs around the hip. This second strap is adjustable to the left or right hip, and features D-rings, hooks, and a brass loop as viable options from which to hang your scabbard or naked sword--whatever its size.

The Elves weren't the only worry one had in the forest. An experienced ranger could scale the trees and make nary a whisper. but perhaps most fearsome of all were the folks that didn't even bother to hide.

The Epic Armoury Woodsman Throwing Axe is a coreless latex throwing weapon inspired by the throwing axes of the early migration period. The fearsome Frankish tribesmen were known for breaking the lines of the Roman legions by throwing these heavy-headed axes, splitting the legionaries’ shields to devastating effect. Epic Armoury’s version has a heavy one-edged blade shaped to look like a mundane garden-variety wood-grain decorated woodsman axe.

The Woodsman Throwing Axe is a throwing weapon with a flexible core that gives it heft and makes it capable to be used as a proper throwing axe, which is made from durable closed cell foam and finished with a strong latex coating, you can feel confident that your LARP weapon will provide the safety and appeal you want when crafting your kit.

The Ranger Shoulder Armour from Epic Armoury offers stylish shoulder protection from a combination of plain and diagonal-weaved leather pieces. Epic Armoury’s Ranger Torso Armour is a chrome-tanned leather cuirass comprising a simple frame with a diagonal weave on the front and sides. The pieces are combined and adjusted with the ornamented strappings.
