A Noble’s Knee Protection
Epic Armoury’s Green Noble Leather Poleyns are a pair of leather guards designed to protect the knees from pesky arrows. Molded and cut to provide the most protection to the entire knee--including the sides and the top of the shins--you can depend on this armour to keep you up on your feet. Overlapping plates provide comfort and flexibility, allowing great mobility on the battlefield. Perhaps most importantly, these poleyns also feature incredible details like scalloped leather and green velvet edging, as well as the cut-out designs.

Epic Armoury’s Warrior Gambeson is a padded long-sleeve coat covering the torso from neck, down over the hips on front and back. It can be worn on its own or serve as essential padding under mail or armour. The gambeson is donned like a jacket and closed on the front with five leather straps and brass buckles, allowing the wearer to customize the tightness of the fit. The arms are easily detachable by untying its cotton cords on the shoulders and sleeves, each cord secured through long-lasting brass eyelets.
Thick enough to serve as its own armour, this sturdy gambeson is constructed with heavy layers of fluffed cotton canvas sandwiched between layers of heavy cotton canvas. All these layers are stitched together in vertical lines, keeping the padding in place and mimicking a classic European high-medieval style.
Though of European cut, gambeson or quilted-style armours have seen world-wide use since antediluvian times, making the Warrior Gambeson a great basic armour with a range of possibilities regardless of time and place.

This cotton twill product is diagonally woven fabric similar to denim. It is quite sturdy, built to take some abuse.
Remember to wax the leather straps before putting in a washing machine or dryer. If you are able to hand wash and leave your gambeson to dry flat, this is preferable.
Machine wash at 40°C / 104°F (warm). Wash separately the first time and with similar colours afterwards. Tumble dry on low heat, but be aware that it might shrink up to 5%. For general stains or discoloration, treat with a commercial fabric cleaner, or blot with tepid water and a soft cloth.
The "Diana" gambeson is a specialty in our line of products due to his design. With 6 lacings in the front and his sidecuts it can easily be adjusted to the wearer. The long sleeves are closed with an additional lacing. The different stitchings let you move freely while providing protection against rashes and bruises. The gambeson is padded with wool felt and lined with light cotton.
he Gambeson "Leopold" is classic cut and generously upholstered. This makes it excellent for the combination with a chain mail. It has short sleeves and is slotted on the back. Thus, it barely limits the mobility of its wearer and still effectively protects against abrasive armour and bruises in combat. The simple cut Gambeson is closed, with five straps and roll buckles on the front side. " Leopold "is an ideal basis for all armament concepts and very well to wear as an independent garment.
