First of all: this sword is no virgin. Designed to appear as though it has seen countless battles, Epic Armoury’s Battleworn Ranger Sword comes with a non-pristine look like rusty spots and nicks and scratches. It looks grimed, aged and not at all well-cared for. Secondly, it has character; it could very likely be the trusty blade of a heroic outlaw or an unscrupulous assassin. Maybe it got picked up by a scavenging orc as stolen goods after a battle, or maybe it belongs to a daughter of a nomadic warrior clan. The possibilities for using it when crafting LARP characters seems almost inexhaustible.
Make no mistake though; The Battleworn Ranger Sword is as dependable as any clean blade in our broad range of products and you can feel absolutely sure that this hybrid model sword will give you confidence in the safety and appeal of your weapon on the battlefield. This 60 cm short latex-hybrid sword is impressively durable and is inspired by medieval weapons and fantasy lore alike. The crossguard features an intricate curved design that protects a leather-like grip. This grip, wide by the crossguard and narrow toward the golden “scent stopper” pommel, is ergonomic in your hand. The blade is made from closed cell foam around a fiberglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, while the handle is a polyurethane foam cast that allows for greater detail and no maintenance.

Epic Armoury’s Ready-for-Battle Cape Arthur is an ankle-length cape, fitted with a hood and cotton-strap fastenings. This design is meant to offer the greatest degree of protection from the elements while still being lightweight and comfortable. This cape makes a great accessory if you need to add layering to your character’s costume, as capes have become synonymous with medieval and fantasy clothing. Epic Armoury’s Merchant Purse is a moderately sized wool and leather purse designed to hold coins or other personal keepsakes. The reinforced-bottom purse is made from wool blend and top-grain leather and is tied shut with a leather cord drawstring. The same drawstring is long enough that it can be tied to your belt in order to keep it close at hand.
The Mechant Purse can carry a lot, including anything up to 23 cm in length. Beautiful purses like this one are useful accessories and great for adding final touches to your character.

General Magnus, during the long years of his career, brought forward the cause of the empire, but also its borders. Great strategist and formidable warrior, he led his troops with discipline and strength. However, the long days of the soldier were ending with his old age : his arm was slower, and even if his mind was as sharp as ever, he wasn't strong enough to go on another campaign.
As a mark of respect for the general, the Emperor made sure he would never be forgotten. When the soldier got back to his small village, ready to live out the rest of his days in peace, he gave his sword back to his ruler. As he had been of a great help to the realm, the Emperor got sure his sword got hung up high in the great hall of the castle. That way, generations of knights, soldiers and noblemen would remember him and his deeds to the empire.
Workshop
This new model of the Magnus bastard sword still has every strong aspect of the former : its foam blade is perfectly safe while still being realistic. However, its colours have been greatly improved. The new blade is now steel-coloured and its handle is part ternished gold, part brown and part steel to give it a unique look.Â
Characters
Every warrior character can find the Magnus III to be of great use, be they knights or fierce barbarians. The first will appreciate the weapon's prestige while the latter will prefer its simple efficiency. Simple enough for a wandering warrior, but prestigious enough for noblemen, this bastard sword will please every one of its wearers.

Stronghold’s Scout Sword is a medium sword inspired by nordic weaponry. The sword is 75 cm long and has a 58 cm double-edged blade with a central ridge. The handle has a lot of detail, including a curved crossguard and ‘cocked-hat’ pommel--both similar to those seen on uncovered Viking swords. The crossguard and pommel are handpainted to looks like faded iron and bronze. The 10 cm grip is cast and painted to look like woven leather, ergonomically shaped to fit the hand comfortably.

The crossguard features an intricate curved design that protects a leather-like grip. This grip, wide by the crossguard and narrow toward the golden “scent stopper” pommel, is ergonomic in your hand. The blade is made from closed cell foam around a fiberglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, while the handle is a polyurethane foam cast that allows for greater detail and no maintenance.
