Drawing deep inspiration from the historic Baron's Wars in England, this shield seamlessly blends period-accurate design with the robust durability needed for intense battle Larps and historically inspired games. This formidable heater-style shield features a bold, traditional chevron design, hand-painted to reflect the aesthetics of the Middle Ages. The chevron pattern, rich in symbolic meaning, is painted on the front of the shield, used in many medieval heraldries.  

The sturdy frame, carved in foam and painted to resemble wood, is reinforced with strong leather edging, ensuring both resilience and a genuine look and feel. You stand watch from the tower, keeping your guard post even when all appears still and quiet. While the hour is late and it is unlikely that the enemy will attack tonight, it is your duty to keep the camp safe. At the first sign of danger, you are to sound the alarm.

Leaning on your Sentinel Spear, you stifle an exhausted yawn. You are prepared to wait and to watch for hours, but that does not make you miss your bed any less. Some coffee would be much appreciated.

Epic Armoury’s Sentinel Spear is a 180 cm latex polearm inspired by the glaive. The Sentinel Spear has a 60 cm sleek, gently curved blade that is handpainted and sculpted. A coloured gem encased in rich metal attaches the blade to the 110 cm wood-coloured pole. The pole is wrapped in soft split-leather to ensure a firm and comfortable grip, and ends with a coreless pommel for safe combat.

Made from durable closed cell foam around a fibreglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, you can feel confident that your LARP weapon will provide the safety and appeal you want when crafting your kit.

• A form of the spear has been used for hunting for at least 400,000 years
• Spears were the most common form of weaponry during the Stone Age, and remained popular until firearms were introduced
• This particular design is similar to a glaive, where a single-edged blade is attached to the end of a pole

Though the King’s Guard usually protected the king in the throne room and beyond, a detachment was sometimes sent to reinforce the battle line. Kurt’s command was one of these detachments. He could smell the enemy from here. A sickly rotten smell, like a deer carcass on a hot summer day, mixed with the smell of steel. He looked sternly at his men as they were lining up for battle and shouted, “Stand to!!” Hearing his words, the men closed the ranks and held their weapons. “Advance! For king and country!”

Epic Armoury's Long Kingsguard Halberd, also known as the Long Imperial Halberd, is a 220cm long halberd, such as those used in the late Middle Ages.
It has a spearhead for taking on cavalry, an axe blade for slashing at enemy footsolders and taking out cavalry that'd been dismounted, and a spike for removing shields and disarming opponents. It is made with a fibreglass core, around which there is a durable closed-cell foam, finished off with a strong latex coating. This ensures the safety, durability and appearance of your weapon.
The Halberd comes in two parts that connect via a threaded bolt system, and you can use the upper part as a shorter weapon. If you do, make sure you cover the bolt before use.

“The arrows were flying through the air in clouds thick enough to block out the sun, but it was clear that the archers could not stop the onslaught. It fell to Sergeant Martin and his men to stop the charge. They had practised this hundreds of times. They knew exactly how to hold the long-handled weapon, angle it for maximum effect against the attackers, and even disarm them. This time, though, they would kill. Martin moved his partisan into position and shouted for his men to do the same. As the cavalry charged into their ranks, the polearm bucked like a wild bull stung by a bee. He and his men would hold.”

Epic Armoury's Ox-Tongue Partisan is inspired by European infantry's spears and polearms during the 16th through 18th centuries, where they were used to fend off cavalry attacks and parry or disarm their swords.
It comes in two parts that use a threaded bolt system to reach the full length, though, if the bolt is covered, it could also be used as a smaller weapon. The double-sided spearhead and the long shaft have been sculpted and painted to look like real wood, while small metallic details complete the look of a real weapon. The closed cell foam sits around a fibreglass core, which is covered in a strong latex coating and gives you a durable weapon that packs away into two manageable 140cm and 93cm pieces respectively.

In the twilight of their years, stories of the two guardsmen were recounted with reverence. One had become the city's stalwart protector, the other a folk hero to the downtrodden. Their legacies were as different as the paths they chose, yet both were carved from the same unwavering conviction that had defined their first day in uniform beneath the city's watchful walls.

Gaze at the Long Battle Scythe, an instrument of war born from the fields of toil. With a shaft graced by grooves and a hue that resembles the authenticity of wood, this 240 cm latex polearm echoes the ingenuity of yesteryears' farmers turned warriors. The scythe's curved blade, emulates the grim harvester's tool repurposed for combat. This weapon unites two parts through a threaded bolt system, versatile enough to be wielded as a shorter armament, though make sure to shroud the bolt in protective materials. Tracing its lineage from the hands of ancient Greeks to the Polish soldiers of the Silesian Uprisings, this scythe, more than a mere weapon, is a chronicle of the commoner's valour in the theatre of war.
