Epic Armoury’s Jade Dao 85 cm is a perfectly balanced latex-hybrid weapon inspired by the ‘General of Weapons’ – a curved sword traditional in Chinese culture. It features a balanced single-edged blade, popular with cavalry and effective at chopping and slashing. The blade is slightly curved with a fake-edge meant to improve its piercing effectiveness, and attaches to the beautifully detailed polyurethane handle. This handle is shaped and painted to look like carved jade and gold with a ring shaped steel-coloured pommel, matching the overall intricate design. It also features a counterweight system to give it a great feel in the hand.

While Asian-inspired, the Jade Dao also features a high-fantasy look that can be used in alternative settings. Made from durable closed cell foam around a fibreglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, you can feel confident that your LARP weapon will provide the safety and appeal you want when crafting your kit.

Epic Armoury’s Polished Steel Persian Greaves is a set of steel leg protection designed to protect the shins and calves. Formed to the shin and connected by chainmail, these greaves are designed to sit comfortably over the shins while leaving room for poleyns to cover the kneecaps. They reach from below the knee and narrow around the ankles, and are secured with two adjustable top-grain leather straps. The chainmail and back plate further protect the calves, giving your legs full coverage.

The Persian Greaves are designed to match Epic Armoury’s Roman collection, but can be mixed and matched to fit your character’s unique costume. Made of 1 mm thick mild steel and top-grain leather straps and fittings, this armour piece is built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather and metal armour care.

Epic Armoury’s Persian Dagger is a fine accessory for any Persian who needs a capable weapon against those pesky Spartans. The dagger is 45 cm long from tip to pommel, with a 30 cm blade. The single-edge blade curves, with a false edge on the reverse side of the tip to give the blade more piercing power. The 12 cm handle with curled pommel is rounded and bound in split-leather to give a comfortable and secure grip.
