Epic Armoury’s Rapier is a medium latex sword inspired by European medieval weapons. The sword is 85 cm long and has a 70 cm straight double-edged blade with a central ridge. The crossguard curves toward the blade to trap incoming strikes, protecting a 10 cm detailed handle with metal embellishments and real leather wrapped around the grip.

Whether you are a nobleman or a valiant musketeer, this Rapier is our highest quality gear due to its impressive durability and detail. The blade is made from closed cell foam around a fibreglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, while the handle is a polyurethane foam cast that allows for greater detail and no maintenance. Epic Armoury’s Dark Grey Doublet Aramis is a snug-fitting long-sleeved jacket designed to give shape to the male body. This doublet covers the torso to the hips and can be worn beneath armour or cloak thanks to the embroidered eyelets along the chest and upper back. The doublet is donned like a jacket and closed on the front with a system of cords, allowing the wearer to customize the tightness of the fit. The sleeves are easily detachable by untying the cords beneath the decorative shoulder tabs, each cord secured through long-lasting brass eyelets.

Thick enough to provide some warmth, this sturdy doublet is constructed with layers of wool and satin. All these layers are stitched together in slimming lines, keeping the doublet form-fitting and mimicking a rich Tudor style.

"CUR?!" Diego roared "Let us see if your respect for animals can protect you from my blade!" as he lunged forward with his rapier.
Luis deftly parried the blow with his Agrippa, the clang of the two blades ringing out through the clearing. "I may respect animals, but for you I will make this one exception." he retorted, delivering a sharp counter-attack that sent Diego staggering backwards.The two men continued to exchange blows, their rapiers flashing in the sunlight. The crowd watching the spectacle gasped and cheered as they witnessed the incredible skill of the two masters of fencing.

But the object at the centre of the duel had already wandered off to find a patch of sunlight, bored with the the hairless apes that did not even have the wits to have small knives attached to the end of their toe beans.

Workshop

This sword, the third version of our most popular rapier, was designed with a special rod that grants great flexibility to the flat side of the blade while retaining a certain rigidity on the edges and tip. This allows safe thrusting and slashing attacks as well as parries. The new guard is a classic wire basket design that is fixed in place. While flexible, this guard will help safely cushion blows to your fingers.

Epic Armoury’s Musketeer Baldric offers more support than a standard waist belt as a way to carry your weapons. Using soft, but sturdy, suede leather, this baldric is both comfortable and durable. The belt strap is secured using a brass buckle painted to look weathered, while the scabbard is adjusted using leather ties and can be switched to either the right-hand or left-hand side. Epic Armoury’s “tricorne” Pirate Hat is handmade from natural full-grain quality leather and sturdy stitching, embellished with cotton canvas and laced leather around the brim. Inspired by popular 18th century hats of the time, its brim is turned up and pinned to form a triangle around the crown with leather lacing.
