Epic Armoury’s Dark Grey Doublet Aramis is a snug-fitting long-sleeved jacket designed to give shape to the male body. This doublet covers the torso to the hips and can be worn beneath armour or cloak thanks to the embroidered eyelets along the chest and upper back. The doublet is donned like a jacket and closed on the front with a system of cords, allowing the wearer to customize the tightness of the fit. The sleeves are easily detachable by untying the cords beneath the decorative shoulder tabs, each cord secured through long-lasting brass eyelets.

Thick enough to provide some warmth, this sturdy doublet is constructed with layers of wool and satin. All these layers are stitched together in slimming lines, keeping the doublet form-fitting and mimicking a rich Tudor style.

The crossguard curves toward the blade to trap incoming strikes, protecting a 10 cm detailed handle with metal embellishments and real leather wrapped around the grip.

Epic Armoury’s Green Corrazina is a beautiful low-fantasy piece of armour protecting the front and back of the torso and abdomen. The plate rests at the waist and is sculpted to fit the body and add structural strength to the steel. This steel riveted piece has been covered with a luxurious and soft layer of green suede leather, giving it a particularly rich appearance.

The Corrazina is constructed using multiple metal plates in order to bend comfortably around the body, and is further adjusted to fit your torso using top-grain leather straps at the shoulders, sides, and along the front. It is fully usable with Epic Armoury’s other metal work products, giving you the freedom to customize your character’s costume. Made of 1 mm thick galvanized mild steel, suede leather, and top-grain leather straps and fittings, this armour piece is built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather and metal armour care.

MASTERS OF SKULDUGGERY

Epic Armoury’s Landsknecht Rondel is a solid 46 cm. dagger inspired by the mercenary Landsknechts of the Hansa State era. Whether your LARP-character is a conniving scoundrel who's trade is skulduggery & espionage or simply just a rogue on the run, this dagger is for you. It features a 28 cm. blade with a central ridge and a fine wood-like handle protected by a cross guard in the shape of a twisted bronze ring. The bronze coloured pommel is rounded, designed as a basic interpretation of a knight’s “rondel dagger”. When fighting enemies close-quarter in heavy plate armour, daggers like this would have been used to force between the joints.

Special care has been taken to ensure that our LARP weapons are safe. This dagger was constructed around a solid fibreglass rod core and a flexible kevlar tip to prevent punctures. Its latex finish requires some maintenance to maximize its use and your wellbeing.

Marius had been at the head of the household's guards for nearly three decades. Now far in his sixties, the wisened man-at-arms was easy to overlook. Crushed by the weight of years, he stood a few inches shorter than during his youth, and he had more grey than brown in his hair, whom he kept tightly in a single braid cascading between his shoulders. At first glance, he sure appeared sturdy for an old-timer but was way past his prime, with a stout granddad's body filling his gambeson armour. However, the veteran soldier seemed well respected by his warriors and was treated with the utmost reverence by the lord as well as his children. Most people assumed it was the reward for his long service in the household, but anytime Marius was forced to draw his blade, they understood very quickly that the captain of the guard wasn't in charge simply because of seniority.

This old weapons master was blessed with an elephant's memory, but he didn't care much about books or lore. What he learned were movements and patterns. Over his long lifetime fighting for his lord, he had used every weapon he could think of, fought in every kind of battle, seen countless fighters in action. It has been a long time since the man-at-arms had been surprised by anything in combat, and thus, he could easily predict his opponent moves like some sort of oracle, always slightly ahead. Even if he wasn't as fast or as strong as he used to be, he always knew the exact move to counter his enemy's strikes, and would often end any combat with a single perfectly-timed decisive blow. He wasn't fancy, he wasn't flashy, but he was deadly. The sturdy bastard sword he carried at his hip was all he needed to shut down anyone questioning his worth, and watching him draw it was always a lesson in humility for the ones that let his looks influence their judgement.

"I may respect animals, but for you I will make this one exception." he retorted, delivering a sharp counter-attack that sent Diego staggering backwards.The two men continued to exchange blows, their rapiers flashing in the sunlight. The crowd watching the spectacle gasped and cheered as they witnessed the incredible skill of the two masters of fencing.

But the object at the centre of the duel had already wandered off to find a patch of sunlight, bored with the the hairless apes that did not even have the wits to have small knives attached to the end of their toe beans.

Workshop

This sword, the third version of our most popular rapier, was designed with a special rod that grants great flexibility to the flat side of the blade while retaining a certain rigidity on the edges and tip. A very becoming jacket with a small stand-up collar. It is closed with laces in the front and has got stitched eyelets. The lining inside matches the respective outside colour.

The "Jörg" doublet is a bicoloured, slit jacket made along historical patterns of the legendary lansquenet mercenaries. It is not certain, where this fashion originated from, but historians suggest, that lansquenets started cutting their clothing, for it was too tight for them to fight in them.
