Epic Armoury’s Pants Arvid are made from high-quality herringbone-patterned cotton and inspired by designs from the early Viking Age. They are characterised by an inner seam and no outer seam, a centre gusset along the entire rise and pattern angled diagonally on the legs for a better fit around the knees. The pants are available in two shades of grey, making the pants a fine base in combination with more colourful items in nordic-inspired character kit.

Shield Bash!

Your shield sends a goblin clear off his feet, landing in a pile of his buddies. They miscalculated your massive strength, and are reeling backwards on the retreat. So much for supposed alliances--you can feel the goblin blood soaked clear down to your Tunic. They have learned too late that betraying an Orc of the Black Water would mean death. It’s too bad they won’t be able to share the word with their kin.

You adjust your great shield, letting out a battle cry of rage as another goblin aims for your ankles. Shield Bash. This one goes flying another fifteen paces.

Epic Armoury’s tunic is a light Viking-style shirt often worn as an undergarment, with a large V-shaped neckline. DETAILS

Epic Armoury’s Warrior Gambeson Torso Brown is a padded sleeveless coat, covering the torso from neck down over the hips on front and back. It can be worn on its own or serve as essential padding under mail or armour. The gambeson is donned like a jacket and closed on the front with five leather straps and brass buckles, allowing the wearer to customize the tightness of the fit. Long or short sleeves can be bought separately and are easily attached by using cotton cords on the shoulders and sleeves, each cord secured through long-lasting brass eyelets.

Thick enough to serve as its own armour, this sturdy gambeson is constructed with heavy layers of fluffed cotton canvas sandwiched between layers of heavy white cotton canvas. All these layers are stitched together in vertical lines, keeping the padding in place and mimicking a classic European high-medieval style.

Though of European cut, gambeson or quilted-style armours have seen world-wide use since antediluvian times, making the Warrior Gambeson a great basic armour with a range of possibilities regardless of time and place.

Epic Armoury’s Landsknecht Pants are styled leggings with baggy thighs and vertically cut colours, most often associated with the wealthy men and German Landsknecht mercenaries of the Renaissance period. Made from durable light canvas and soft cotton lining, these pants are extra wide above the knees before mimicking leggings, easily fit inside your boots and leg armour. Adjust the fabric around the calves by tightening its reinforced cotton cord to get the best fit.

The pants are fitted with a heavy cotton cord drawstring and metal buttons at the waist to keep the pants in place while leaving sufficient room for a proper belt. The pants also have pockets.
Please note that there are decorative stitches in the pleating to keep the product in prime condition prior to sale. For comfort and longevity some customers may need to unpick the stitch on the front and side of the thighs.

The Landsknecht Pants are fully compatible with Epic Armoury's other clothes and armours, and the style will fit with a broad variety of characters.

It’s been a long winter, and you and your family aren’t sure you’re going to have enough food. Made from durable black cotton twill and red medium canvas lining, these pants are extra wide above the knees before fitting tighter around the lower legs. Included black leg wraps complete the look around the calves and shins, getting the best fit to your body and negating the need for tall boots or thick leg pads for your leg guards.

The pants are fitted with six belt loops and are stretchy at the waist, giving you the best fit.
