Your many travels require a pair of Traveler Boots designed to last. You rely on these boots to keep you on your feet! Along with your sword, armour and your skill, you expect that you may yet live to be a wisened old veteran. You certainly have the survival instinct.

DETAILS

Epic Armoury’s Traveler Boots are tall leather boots with soft, split-leather on the inside. These knee-high boots have a flexible cuff at the knee which can be flipped up or down for a classic pirate look. The soles come to a sharp point inspired by 12th century medieval fashion, pointing up at a jaunty 45° angle. Secure these boots using the adjustable lacing up the calf, set with rounded leather cords through brass eyelets.

Made from chrome-tanned split-leather, a flexible top-grain insole, and a 7mm thick natural rubber outsole, Epic Armoury’s Traveler Boots are designed to complete your fantasy or historic costume. With reinforced stitching around the edges and reinforced leather at the heels, these boots are built to withstand extensive abuse with regular leather care.

• Pointed shoes were considered popular throughout Europe on and off during the medieval period, finally falling out of fashion in the 1480s

LOOKS CAN BE DECIEVING

First of all: this sword is no virgin. Designed to appear as though it has seen countless battles, Epic Armoury’s Battleworn Ranger Sword comes with a non-pristine look like rusty spots and nicks and scratches. It looks grimed, aged and not at all well-cared for. Secondly, it has character; it could very likely be the trusty blade of a heroic outlaw or an unscrupulous assassin. Maybe it got picked up by a scavenging orc as stolen goods after a battle, or maybe it belongs to a daughter of a nomadic warrior clan. The possibilities for using it when crafting LARP characters seems almost inexhaustible.

Make no mistake though; The Battleworn Ranger Sword is as dependable as any clean blade in our broad range of products and you can feel absolutely sure that this hybrid model sword will give you confidence in the safety and appeal of your weapon on the battlefield. This 60 cm short latex-hybrid sword is impressively durable and is inspired by medieval weapons and fantasy lore alike. The crossguard features an intricate curved design that protects a leather-like grip. This grip, wide by the crossguard and narrow toward the golden “scent stopper” pommel, is ergonomic in your hand. The blade is made from closed cell foam around a fiberglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, while the handle is a polyurethane foam cast that allows for greater detail and no maintenance.

Aradani Studios elf ears are considered by many as the best costume prosthetics in the world. These are hand-crafted in our home studio by the artists of Aradani with attention to detail and quality.

Not only do we hand make and inspect each set of ears, we try to use the highest quality materials we can find. Often on the road we are told our ears last for years of use, with some people coming back with the same ears after 6-7 years of wearing them! You can attach these ears with spirit gum or liquid latex (personally we recommend spirit gum). The seam lines can be blended with latex or hidden with the use of an ear cuff as shown in the picture.

These are handcrafted in our home studio, by the artists of Aradani, with attention to detail and quality. 

Aradani Studios was founded in 2002 by the Bielaczyc siblings, Michael, Paul and Sara. Their original intention was to work at the Tennessee Renaissance Festival as a part-time endeavor, a way for them to spend time together and have some fun selling artwork. So many people were interested in Paul's elven costume, particularly the pointed ears, that the they decided that they would add elf ears to the business. The following weekend, the Bielaczyc's began what Aradani Studios is best known for: hand-painting elf ears to blend in naturally with people's skin tone.

What began as a once a year activity for the brothers expanded in 2003 to include three Renaissance festivals and multiple conventions around the country. During this time, Aradani Studios carried a variety of other brands, but didn't manufacture any of their own products. However, with customers requesting custom prosthetics at every show, they decided it was time to expand.

Starting early in 2005, they began sculpting and producing their own line of prosthetics, by 2007, over 90% of the products they sold were created in house, made and manufactured in Nashville, Tennessee. Customers all over the world have enjoyed Aradani elf ears and masks.

Aside from latex prosthetics and jewelry, Michael and Paul Bielaczyc are acclaimed fantasy artists, winning awards all over the country and working for companies such as Dragonlance and Apex Digest. Their work can be seen in shows across the Southeast and various publications.

The polyurethane foam Outrider Greaves from Epic Armoury is all about combat efficiency. This set of greaves is painted to look like real steel and is accentuated by black leather plates. This fantasy-based sleeveless dress is made to be worn over any Larp costume and designed to endure harsh combat. Fairies, Elves or any style ranger will enjoy the convenience and the beauty of this garment. The dress comes equipped with a high tunnel collar and an oversized hood, allowing you to camouflage your face as you hide while providing some protection against the elements. The bottom of the dress possesses ruffled edges, enhancing the decorum of this fantasy dress. He gripped his father’s sword tight, his fingers tightening around the long hilt like the desperate grasp of a drowning man holding to a branch. In front of him was his father’s killer. Epic Armoury's Mercenary Sword is part of the Vanguard line, and it takes its design cues from the longswords of mediaeval Europe, with a grip designed for both one and two-handed usage. The crossguard is smaller than most European swords, allowing for a greater range of movement when using the blade. The hilt is made from polyurethane and has a high degree of detailing, as it is sculpted to resemble wood reinforced with rivets and gold bands, while the hilt and pommel are steel coloured with gold detailing. The hilt guarantees a great grip for the wielder. The blade is made from closed-cell polyurethane foam and coloured to look as lifelike as possible. Unlike most LARP weapons, the Vanguard line requires virtually no maintenance beyond checking for wear and tear in the form of cuts or breaks.

The Jorik Shoes are designed to be the ideal Viking footwear for the active Larper. This medieval shoe, or short boot, is crafted from beautiful full-grained leather and secured to the side of the foot using thick leather laces. Our classic period footwear has a leather sole, giving it the added traction needed for re-enactment or renaissance festival-goers. This product is handmade and hand-painted and therefore unique. Mytholon's lace-up Taras boots are modelled after rider's boots favoured by the Cossacks.

Made of robust cowhide leather, the boot-legs can be adjusted to the wearer's calves by adjusting the lacing.
Additionally, a strap with a brass buckle secures the boot along the calf.
You can wear Taras boots both laced to the top as well as laced halfway up with the top part turned down.

The boots have a rather narrow cut but will adjust to the wearer as the material stretches over time.
If you have large feet, we recommend choosing one size bigger than usual or using inlays.

The soles consist of waterproof plastic and boast a delicate profile.
