Taras Boots - Cowhide

Mytholon's lace-up Taras boots are modelled after rider's boots favoured by the Cossacks.

Made of robust cowhide leather, the boot-legs can be adjusted to the wearer's calves by adjusting the lacing.
Additionally, a strap with a brass buckle secures the boot along the calf.
You can wear Taras boots both laced to the top as well as laced halfway up with the top part turned down.

The boots have a rather narrow cut but will adjust to the wearer as the material stretches over time.
If you have large feet, we recommend choosing one size bigger than usual or using inlays.

The soles consist of waterproof plastic and boast a delicate profile.

The Prescott jack boots  are made of soft, vegan suitable imitation leather with a light lining. They keep your feet warm and dry in bad weather. Ideal for pirates and sailors, they are also suited to adventurers, knights and noble characters.

While imitation leather boots are more weather resistant than ungreased leather boots and do not so quickly soak in the rain, please note that Prescotts are costuming quality boots and are not designed for long use in combat conditions.

The oldest testimonies of boots were found on murals in the Spanish cave of Altamira. They are dated from 13,000 to 15,000 BC. Boots protect the foot and calves from cold and injuries. They were and still are indispensable for activities in the area or in bad weather. Primeval hunters, knights, adventurers or pirates they all wear boots- for a good reason!

The shape of jackboots, like these Haddock boots, developed from the commonly used riding boots. The long cuffs, which were supposed to protect the legs while riding, were folded down and became a common fashion trend. The  Haddock jackboots are made of soft vegan suitable synthetic leather. This makes them insensitive to moisture and almost rain-proof. The sole is sewn in so you won't have to worry about soaked shoes or wet feet. Beneath the cuff there is a strap that can be used to close the boot around the calf, and another at the ankle.

Another nice detail are the small brass buckles that visually fit our "Henry " series. We have designed the underside of the cuffs in such a way that it can also be worn folded up high, whichincreases the warmth and protective effect. The light lining made of high-quality foam keeps the feet warm even on wet nights.

Epic Armoury’s Traveler Boots are tall leather boots with soft, split-leather on the inside. These knee-high boots have a flexible cuff at the knee which can be flipped up or down for a classic pirate look. The soles come to a sharp point inspired by 12th century medieval fashion, pointing up at a jaunty 45° angle. Secure these boots using the adjustable lacing up the calf, set with rounded leather cords through brass eyelets.
