Humidity, expansion and contraction in the heat, UV radiation, rain, and the withering blows of your enemies all conspire to expose your armour to rust, but worse yet, your very own precious bodily fluids conspire to corrode it from the inside with their impurities and corruption! (which is why we only ever drink pure grain alcohol or rainwater)

You could coat your armour (and other metal objects) in a regular run of the mill lubricant, but many of them are actively hydrophobic. Great for metal but terrible for leather, cotton and other organic materials!

Lanox MX4 is a lanolin rich lubricant, and lanolin is the oil that is naturally produced by sheep to prevent them from shrinking in the rain and generally remain weather proof! It is superior to many artificial compounds and does not damage leathers or organic fibres.

Epic Armoury’s Warrior Arm Protection is a set of metal vambraces designed to protect the forearms from harm. Rounded at the edges and decorated with shiny steel rivets, these vambraces are designed to sit comfortably over the forearm, reaching from the elbow and narrowing at the wrists. Secure this armour with a top-grain leather strap below the elbow and another above the wrist.

The Warrior Arm Protection vambraces are neutral in style and fully usable with other Epic Armoury metal products, giving you the freedom to customize your character’s costume. Epic Armoury’s Splint Bracers are a pair of leather and metal arm and elbow guards. The 1mm thick steel couter is forged and shaped to provide the most protection to the entire elbow--including the sides thanks to an attached fan plate. The arm guards, or vambrace and rerebrace, are made from thick top-grain leather and a row of metal strips attached to the inside. With these three overlapping parts providing comfort and flexibility, they have great mobility on the battlefield.

These Splint Bracers feature incredible details like scalloped leather edging, and is covered with a studded and lined suede. Four leather straps are used to keep each of the Splint Bracers in place. Brass eyelets and canvas cords are used to attach to the forearm guard and upper arm guard. Worn on their own or with our matching Splint Shoulders and Poleyns, these Splint Bracers are sure to add some class to your costume.

Our "Adam" bracers are a little bit shorter than their cousins from our other series. Because of this they will also fit adolescents or smaller people.
Additionally, like all the other "Adam" armour parts, it has a corrugation along the rim.
