Tiberius Greaves

When you need to fend off the enemy, do not fear attacks to your legs. Wear the Tiberius Steel Greaves to your next battle. Made from 19-gauge mild steel, these medieval greaves come as a pair. They secure onto the legs with leather straps. The polished greaves cover the knees and shins.

Each leg consists of two sections riveted together. The pieces that cover the knees overlap the lower sections. They have a rounded, triangular shape. Meanwhile, the lower sections have rounded cutouts at the ankle for greater mobility. Both pieces have rolled edges. These knight greaves are ideal for a LARP event or cosplay. They work with a variety of character aesthetics.

Care Instructions:

Keep away from water. Clean with a metal polish and re-oil occasionally to properly maintain the armour. Use leather-care products for the fittings.

Epic Armoury’s Dark Drake Upper Leg are tassets designed to protect the thigh and groin. The style is late medieval with rolled edged metal plates overlapping each other. Two sets of steel plates hang from the hips to cover the outer thighs. A third set of slimmer plates cover the groin area and provide some protection to the inner thighs. The set comes with a leather belt with suspenders to keep the piece in place. Each plate is treated with Epic Armoury’s Epic Dark Metal coat, which gives the armour a rugged, antique finish which matches its reptilian scale design.

The Dark Drake Upper Leg armour is designed to match Epic Armoury’s Dark Drake Armour, but is fully usable with other Epic Armoury metal products, giving you the freedom to customize your character’s costume. Epic Armoury’s Mercenary Tassets are reminiscent of the typical pikeman armour of the late medieval and renaissance era. The piece consists of three broad metal plates overlapping each other to provide laminate protection for the hips and upper thigh. The tassets leave the pelvis somewhat unprotected, and normally a cod-piece would be added to protect the groin area. The tassets are secured in place with leather cords.

The Mercenary Tassets are designed to match Epic Armoury’s Mercenary Armour, and are the only tassets not fully interchangeable with other Epic Armoury metal products. Rounded at the edges and decorated with scale-like ridges, these demi-greaves are designed to sit comfortably over the shins while leaving room for poleyns to cover the kneecaps. They reach from below the knee and narrow around the ankles, secured with a top-grain leather straps below the knee and another above the ankles. Epic Armoury’s Gothic Leg Protection consists of cuisses to protect the lower thighs, articulated poleyns covering the knees, and half demi-greaves protecting the upper shins and sides of the calves. The poleyon knee-cups are articulated, composed of four overlaying plates and fitted with a projecting heart-shaped plate adding cover to the notoriously under-protected hamstring. This armour piece is held up via straps tied to the wearer’s belt and held in place via guiding straps around the thighs and calves.

The Gothic Arm Protection is made from mild steel with rolled edges that form ridges around the rims. The design is historically inspired by the renaissance, but the style and functionality is fully interchangeable with other Epic Armoury armours, allowing freedom to combine armours and customize a character’s looks to fit your needs.
