Epic Armoury’s Collodium is the non-flexible form of collodion, a syrupy solution made from pyroxylin in an ether and alcohol solvent. This rigid collodion is great for theatrical makeup effects, including:

• scarring,
• wrinkles, and
• burns

Directions for use:

Apply a thin layer of collodion to fleshy skin and allow it to dry completely. You will feel the collodion tighten and pull and pucker the skin where applied. The looser the skin, the more dramatic effect you can achieve! It is especially noticeable on cheeks, and can be layered with multiple dried coats to get deeper lines.

Add to the look with some water-based makeup by adding some pink for a new scar, or brown for an old one. Use powder to remove any lasting shine and finish with setting spray.

Removal:

Repeated application of rigid collodion to the same spot can cause damage to the skin and actual scarring. Safely remove the dried film by using Collodion Remover and cotton balls. Soak the cotton balls in the oily remover and wipe at the collodion effect until it peels off gently.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Be careful when applying collodion to avoid the eyes and mouth. Apply in a well ventilated area. Keep away from open flames, as this product is highly flammable.

Forged by the gnomes of Tir Tochair, Zireael was a 200 years old gwyhyr, a sword regarded as the best in the world. The sword was made with dark iron and the shape of the blade resembled a flame, as is common in the gnomic tradition. On the blade were many engraved floral decorations and a tower with a swallow on the top.

The Wild Hunt was in truth an elite cavalry brigade from the world of the Aen Elle, the Alder Folk, and was commanded by their ambitious and ruthless king, Eredin Bréacc Glas, and his faithful sword. Epic Armoury’s Landsknecht Rondel is a solid 46 cm. dagger inspired by the mercenary Landsknechts of the Hansa State era. Whether your LARP-character is a conniving scoundrel who's trade is skulduggery & espionage or simply just a rogue on the run, this dagger is for you. It features a 28 cm. blade with a central ridge and a fine wood-like handle protected by a cross guard in the shape of a twisted bronze ring. The bronze coloured pommel is rounded, designed as a basic interpretation of a knight’s “rondel dagger”. When fighting enemies close-quarter in heavy plate armour, daggers like this would have been used to force between the joints.

Special care has been taken to ensure that our LARP weapons are safe. This dagger was constructed around a solid fibreglass rod core and a flexible kevlar tip to prevent punctures. Its latex finish requires some maintenance to maximize its use and your wellbeing.
