Picking up his weapon with a firm hand, the disciple returns to his defensive position, his gaze still pierced with humiliation. His ego had pushed him to challenge his master but it was his determination that kept him standing. To reach the heights he had set for himself, he would have to go through much more difficult tests. Tightening his fingers around the handle of his spear, he leapt; this strike will be the one to make him victorious!

Workshop

While creating this weapon, we wanted to make a very detailed naginata with a multitude of nested pieces to represent the organic complexity of a spider. The plates interlocking with each other recall the almost mechanical workings of an insect and the metallic coloring is inspired by their chitinous shells. Made of Calimacil safe foam, this weapon will accompany you in all your battles.

Legend

Since the sunrise, the guard had been assigned a new position: Cerulean Sentinel, district of knowledge. At first glance, he looked just like a protector of scholars; he wore the blue scarves of the district and held in his hand a spear of the same hue. However, the weight of the scarlet dagger concealed under his belt brought his thoughts back to the walls, where for the first time he had sunk that blade into the skull of a green skin. Not only do we hand make and inspect each set of ears, we try to use the highest quality materials we can find. Often on the road we are told our ears last for years of use, with some people coming back with the same ears after 6-7 years of wearing them!  You can attach these ears with spirit gum or liquid latex (personally we recommend spirit gum). The seam lines can be blended with latex or hidden with the use of an ear cuff as shown in the picture.

The following weekend, the Bielaczyc's began what Aradani Studios is best known for: hand-painting elf ears to blend in naturally with people's skin tone.

What began as a once a year activity for the brothers expanded in 2003 to include three Renaissance festivals and multiple conventions around the country. During this time, Aradani Studios carried a variety of other brands, but didn't manufacture any of their own products. However, with customers requesting custom prosthetics at every show, they decided it was time to expand.

Starting early in 2005, they began sculpting and producing their own line of prosthetics, by 2007, over 90% of the products they sold were created in house, made and manufactured in Nashville, Tennessee. Customers all over the world have enjoyed Aradani elf ears and masks.

The fresh carcass of the arachnid was laying at the foot of the initiate. Still exhausted from the fight, he knew he could not stay longer in the middle of the viscous nest of these chitinous creatures. Grossly cutting the giant spider's remains, he began to harvest his trophy, proof of his success. A fang, some viscera and pieces of shell were enough to make a solid weapon, a spear he will use for the rest of his life. When he returns, he will finally be an accomplished warrior.

The "Kosumi" naginata is based on historical examples from Japan. There, it was a traditional weapon of the samurai as well as the Onna-bugeisha warrioresses. This foam weapon interpretation made by "Black Dragon" features elaborate ornaments as well as a broad "tsuba", a crossguard similar to a katana's. Similar to the historical basis, the long blade is slightly bent, and its defined shape contrasts with the magnificent ornaments.

This polearm can be divided into two parts! This allows for easy transport and space-saving storage. Screwed together by means of a robust metal thread, it does not lack stability when in use. Inserts of robust leather guarantee the necessary stability and durability. We recommend regular care with silicone oil. Keep your foam weapons clean and dry at all times. Do not store them in a weapon's holder or similar contraption for extended periods of time. Your foam weapon should not be exposed to a lot of heat or direct sunlight for extended periods of time. This could lead to deformations or damage to the surface.

It was born from the meeting between the Fucina del Drago and Black Forge, an artisan workshop that has been active for years in the LARP and Cosplay sector at national and international level which, in February 2020, joined forces in the common goal of expanding their work and their skills to offer them on a wider market also linked to film productions.

From this collaboration, projects related to TV series have been born that have benefited from years of experience and tests on materials, at the same time highlighting on the one hand the absolute reachable realism and on the other the possibility of truly shaping the imagination to give shape to things otherwise unattainable.

Yari (槍) is the term for one of the traditionally made Japanese blades (nihonto) in the form of a spear, or more specifically, the straight-headed spear.

The martial art of wielding the yari is called sōjutsu.

Your Yari was handed to you by your master many years ago. It was a bittersweet moment for you, because while it meant you overcome all obstacles in your training, it also meant it was time to set out on your own.

You find the handle comforting, your hand finding its usual well-worn grip. Epic Armoury’s Yari is an impressive 200 cm latex polearm inspired by the weapon that served as the backbone of feudal Japan’s infantry. This Yari is handpainted and sculpted, and the finished result is a beautiful weapon with a long double-edged 55 cm spearhead. A short golden ricasso attaches the spearhead to a black-lacquered and gold trimmed pole inspired by Asian design.
