Many have gathered to the abandoned outpost of Weitnördlich with the promise of free land and payment for staying for a whole year however near the town mysterious sounds and creatures of Chaos come from the mines as Orcs are forced to abandon their homes in the mines and join the town against this threat. Those who have established themselves have banned magic; the winds have become unstable as any magic has great consequences that affect all. It is still unknown what happened to the original townsfolk and the cause of the winds of magic to be this way but all that is truly known is everything leads to the mines.

Every year, six cantons and clans from across these lands gather for A Dance of Ribbons to welcome in the new season, and, for a few days, enjoy peace and revelry. The Dance brings hope of new treaties, of peaceful ritual, and an exchange of faith, politics, culture and food.
