Epic Armoury's new Alaric Chainmail Hood is a flexible mail armour coif made from linked steel rings. The mail covers the head, neck and shoulders. Each butted ring interlocks with four other rings in a 4-in-1 design. Treated with Epic Armoury’s Dark Metal coat to prevent rust, you can expect this armour to last a long time as reenactment gear with proper metal care.

The Alaric Chainmail is mail great for heavy medieval infantry and sergeants, as well as early knights. But how many have died of fright in their very sleep, falling to the blades of the Mara? 

Epic Armoury’s Nightmare Blade is a hybrid LARP sword with unique and asymmetric detail, designed for the greatest of barbarians. Featuring a notched and worn blade with a long ridge and a decorated ricasso, the Nightmare Blade is a longsword handmade and hand painted to look like real steel with antique gold embellishments. The pommel is shaped like a scent stopper, decorated in gold diamond-shaped ridges.

The Nightmare’s blade is made out of soft EVA foam around a solid fibreglass rod core--chosen for its durability and safety. It is coated with latex for its smooth appearance and to minimize shredding. The 37 cm handle is made of polyurethane for its high detail, and the 17 cm grip is wrapped in leather.

How do they fit?

We provide you with a high-quality, low-melt thermoplastic which softens in hot water and anchors the veneer shell to your teeth. The fitting process takes 20 minutes to obtain a fit that will last all season.

Each set comes with enough fitting plastic for a complete fit and photographic instructions.

Epic Effects’ Water Based Make Up is a deep-pigmented compact powder makeup. Perfect as a foundation or as a shade, this makeup provides great cover of the skin and on other materials such as foam latex or natural fabrics. Water-based makeup is easily removed, but still resistant to perspiration--especially when reinforced with a layer of Setting Spray.

Water Based Makeup contains an intense amount of pigment in order to deliver a lot of mileage in a small tin. The colour dries matte, reducing the need to post-treat or powder.

The Water Based Makeup comes in a 20 ml tin.

Directions for use:

Apply makeup using a moist brush or sponge. Great for use on the face, but can also be used all over the body--including delicate skin around the eyes. Can also be used to colour beards, hair, or moustaches. Seal the finished makeup with Epic Effects Setting Spray.

Removal:

Remove makeup with mild soap and warm water.

Safely attach prosthetics to your face and skin.

Epic Effects Mastix Spirit Gum is a non-toxic adhesive for applying latex prosthetics and hair to skin. The gum is almost invisible once dried, improving the look of prosthetics. Mastix Spirit Gum is safe to use on children, but should be kept out of reach and applied only with adult supervision. The glue comes in a 12 ml bottle with screw-on lid. Inside the lid, the bottle is suited with a tiny brush helping the user apply the glue effectively.

Directions for use:

• Clean the skin and the prosthetic with Mastix Spirit Gum Remover.
• Apply a thin layer of glue to your prosthetic with an applicator. Let it dry completely until clear and repeat with a second layer.\
• Apply the prosthetic in the desired position and hold in place for ten seconds.

Removal:

Gently peel the prosthetic away from the skin starting at one corner, using the Mastix Spirit Gum Remover to dissolve the glue and to clean the skin. Then clean your skin and the prosthetic with mild soap and warm water.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Epic Effect Mastix Spirit Gum should not be used around the eyes or on mucous membranes like the lips, eyelids or on private areas. Keep away from open flames, as this product is highly flammable.

Based on a nasal helm worn during the middle ages, the Undead Helmet will strike fear in the hearts of your enemies as you stride into battle.
