This phrase was oft used by the drow when teaching their apprentice assassins. However, it did very little to protect them from the blind warrior monks the humans eventually unleashed upon them.
But the Drow learn and adapt. They know that the best things to steal from your enemies are first their ideas and then their tools.

LET DARKNESS BE YOUR BULWARK AGAINST THE ENEMY

Epic Armoury’s Drow shield is a large shield inspired by heater shields used for jousting in the 15th century. A hand painted black center with gold edges and a white heraldy mimics a traditional elven heraldry design. The rim is detailed to look like golde metal. While the design is simple, this Drow Shield is evocative of elven curvatures with its organic design and oppressive colour scheme.

Wear this Drow Shield left-handed with the use of three leather arm straps on the back, secured through hard EVA foam for a reliable and solid grip made to last. Feel confident that this latex shield will withstand the continued abuse of a LARP with regular latex maintenance.

Designed to be the maximum allowable size under the Swordcraft rules set, this shield has the Epic Armoury tri-position grip to allow you to hold it no matter what style of shield bearer you need to be.
