The Epic Armoury Woodsman Throwing Axe is a coreless latex throwing weapon inspired by the throwing axes of the early migration period. The fearsome Frankish tribesmen were known for breaking the lines of the Roman legions by throwing these heavy-headed axes, splitting the legionaries’ shields to devastating effect. Epic Armoury’s version has a heavy one-edged blade shaped to look like a mundane garden-variety wood-grain decorated woodsman axe.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Natural horn products are ABSOLUTELY NOT DISHWASHER SUITABLE.

To clean, place in warm soapy water, and brush gently with a bottle brush. With use, the wax may begin to peel back from the wall naturally. It can easily be re-adhered by adding more wax. Purchase a block of pure bees wax and gently melt it onto the affected area, thumbing the area closed and sealed again.

Cracks in horn may be fixed with the application of dish-washer safe "ModPodge", available on request at your local Spotlight or craft store.

Do not use for hot beverages. Do not use for alcoholic beverages higher than 20% ABV. Do not place in boiling liquid or put boiling liquid inside horn. Do not drop. Consume contents responsibly.

This hornloop with buckle makes the carrying of every sort of horn far easier, than in your hand. Simply place it on your belt and have two free hands to work with. You can also adjust it to hold your axe or any kind of sword.

The hornsling "Castagir", from the house Fucina del Drago was decorated with elaborate, Celtic knot patterns. It is shaped slightly conical to its underside, so every horn sits securely in its place. Curved lines and an antique finish make this hornsling a very decorative piece, that highlights the unique "nordic" character of a drinking horn. For LARPer and medieval fans, it is a nice and practical accessory in which signal horns and upholstered weapons can also find their place well. Thanks to the sturdy leather lacing on the front, the diameter can be extended as you wish.

Black Dragon is our brand for the design and construction of weapons, armor and props oriented to LARP, Cosplay and film productions.

These are articles made of materials such as plastazote, evazote, resins and the like, used to give shape and substance to the wildest dreams of every designer or to reproduce objects not otherwise available because of fantasy.

It was born from the meeting between the Fucina del Drago and Black Forge, an artisan workshop that has been active for years in the LARP and Cosplay sector at national and international level which, in February 2020, joined forces in the common goal of expanding their work and their skills to offer them on a wider market also linked to film productions.

From this collaboration, projects related to TV series have been born that have benefited from years of experience and tests on materials, at the same time highlighting on the one hand the absolute reachable realism and on the other the possibility of truly shaping the imagination to give shape to things otherwise unattainable.

From the feedback obtained, the push that led us to strongly believe in this new project was born to the point of creating a brand dedicated only to this type of product.
