Your Knight’s Code is one of valor, truth, and courage. You are tasked with defending the innocent and the weak, and today your oath is being tested. Outside of town there has been a bandit attack on a merchant and his family, and it’s up to you to rescue them.
Your squire straps your Bevor around your neck before your helmet is placed firmly over your head, and with a prayer to your god you and your small unit strike out onto the road.
DETAILS
Epic Armoury’s Bevor is a piece of handmade armour designed to protect the face and neck, inspired by traditional armour worn during the medieval period. Sculpted to sit comfortably around the neck and rest on the shoulders, the Bevor offers the maximum amount of protection you could need on the battlefield. Overlapping plates allow for some flexibility, and it can easily be paired with other Epic Armoury helmets and body armour for a complete look.
Secure the Bevor by tightening the leather strap across the back of the neck, adjusting so that the chin comfortably sits against the interior security bar. Made of polished 1 mm thick mild steel and top-grain leather straps, this armour piece is built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather and metal armour care.
HISTORY
- Typically worn with a sallet or burgonet in order to protect the entire head and neck
- Used during jousting tournaments
- Bevor is a term also used for the hinged plate protecting the lower face and throat in a closed helm

Your aura of darkness freezes the hearts of anyone who looks you in the eye. And your favorite? Someone is saying you made a deal with a devil so that you may never die.

You are laughing too loud. You realize it must be scaring your enemy, because no one wants to face you on the frontline anymore. They think you are crazed. Maybe you are, because the adrenaline of being in a battle has left you feeling drunk with exhilaration.
If no one will come to you, it’s time to bring the fight to them! One poor soldier desperately strikes at you and you feel the thud of his sword against your Viking Mask Helmet, but it hardly makes a scratch. You see the terror in his eyes as your laugh fills the field and you bring the strength of your axe down upon him.
You are Raynor Ironshood. Let them fear you. Let them all fear you.

Your horse gallops out onto the fields of a vast plain, chasing after the few orcs fleeing from your arrows. Your horsebow gleams beneath the sunlight, and every arrow you let fly finds its mark. With balance and elven grace, you reach for another arrow in your quiver.
The orcs made a mistake when they entered your family’s forest. You successfully taunted their scouting party into a trap, and now all that is left is a little cleanup.

You tighten your Ring Belt another notch, frowning at the watered-down soup over the fire. It’s been a long winter, and you and your family aren’t sure you’re going to have enough food. As you consider ways you might be able to afford some meat--maybe you can do some work for a merchant in town?--there’s an anxious knock on the door.
“Raiders!” shouts the messenger on your doorstep. “Raiders are coming! Every able person is being called to fight!”
Suddenly an empty belly is the least of your worries.

Oh no, you think, as a sword and a helmet are thrust into your farm-calloused hands. You’ve never been trained as a soldier, let alone asked to fight on a dangerous battlefield!
But here you are, suddenly standing in a row of your neighbors. You await the advancing orc raid said to be headed for your farms and your town, and you just hope that somehow you’ll make it through. At least your Helmet feels solid on your head. That’s something to be thankful for, at least...right?

ThinkGeek started as an idea. A simple idea to create and sell stuff that would appeal to the thousands of people out there who were on the front line and in the trenches as the Internet was forged. ThinkGeek started as a way to serve a market that was passionate about technology, from programmers, engineers, students, lovers of open source, to the masses that helped create the behind-the-scenes Internet culture. Three out of the four founding ThinkGeek members started an ISP in the Northern Virginia area way way back in 1995. We couldn't afford Solaris, learned about a free UNIX-like OS, and spent almost an entire day downloading it onto over 50 floppies for installation on an old 486 laptop with no cd-rom (thanks Slackware!). After a few years with the ISP gig, the ThinkGeek idea popped into our heads, and, operating out of a spare room at the ISP office we setup shop and launched the site on Friday the 13th, 1999... All the founding members are still in town, and we've continued to grow our product line, expand our staff (including several canines) and enhance the way we interface with customers. Who would have thought...
