Nimue Fur Mantle

The lined Nimue ("nmWAY") gorget  is ideal for the cold days of the year.
Made with a warm wool synthetic blend, it protects well from wind and weather and blends seamlessly with 2019 winter fashions. The edge of the gorget is fringed with fluffy faux fur. The Nimue is closed with a suede strap and a brass buckle.

The padded nature of this mantle also makes the wearing of pauldrons, gorgets, and bevors significantly more comfortable even without a gambeson.

The "Mina" line was made as an armour for women, drawing from historical and fantasy sources for inspiration.
The gorget is, just like the entire "Mina" series, built similary to the "Balthasar" series: decorations with rivets along the edge beading are a returning design element in both armours. Both armour series can easily be combined with each other. A slim built and swung lines provide a delicate shape to this gorget. It does not overlap with the chest plate or spaulders, so that you can use the space for creative costume pieces. It also offers more movability to this area. The gorget is being closed with a brass pin and a leather strap.

The "Lena" series gorget appears smaller and more delicate than most other plate metal gorgets. despite of this, it works just as good as a plate spaulder carrier with the two buckle/straps on the sides. It is being closed with a simple strap and can be closed by the wearer when fully armed.
You can wear all our spaulders from all series in combination with this gorget.
Younger heroes, kids and smaller persons can wear this gorget in a combination with the small spaulders from the "Adam", "Balthasar" and "Markward" series.

If your costume creation allows a padded gorget - we suggest to wear padding underneath all metal armour pieces, as this prevents bruises and scratches when being armed.

A Noble’s Neck Protection

Epic Armoury’s Green Noble Leather Gorget is a gorget designed to sit around the neck, providing protection to the thorax and shoulders. Molded to sit comfortably around the neck and rest on the shoulders, this gorget offers some of the best protection for the battlefield. Overlapping leather provides more coverage, while the green velvet lining and the scalloped edges give this armour a rich appearance. Epic Armoury’s Gothic Gorget & Shoulders is fully articulated and designed to provide protection for the throat, neck and shoulders while minimizing the exposure of weak-spots. The armour is a four-piece set: a two piece gorget and two shoulders. The gorget covers the thorax to the sternum and is furnished with several ridges and two large octagonal besagues (round metal shields) to protect the notoriously under-armoured armpits from arrow-strikes. The two parts are fitted together with vegetable tanned top-grain leather straps. The gorget also provides fastenings for the shoulders. The shoulders are composed of articulated spaulders covering the shoulder-joint and upper arms, reinforced with large pauldrons sculpted to look like dragon’s wings to further protect the armpits. The shoulder plates are strapped on at the gorget and around the upper arms.

The Gothic Arm Protection is made from mild steel with rolled edges that form ridges around the rims. The design is historically inspired by the renaissance, but the style and functionality is fully interchangeable with other Epic Armoury armours, allowing freedom to combine armours and customize a character’s looks to fit your needs.

Epic Armoury's Ready for Battle Neck and Shoulders is a simplified version of our neck plate armour, designed to protect the upper body while remaining comfortable and lightweight. A quilted cotton gorget sits comfortably around the neck and over the shoulders, providing padding beneath other metal armours or worn on its own. Each shoulder is then protected with the addition of a steel shoulderguard, polished to shine.

Secure the RFB Neck & Shoulders armour by tightening the cotton tie-strings, adjusting so that the gorget sits comfortably around the neck while the shoulderguards sit over the apex of your shoulders. Made of polished 1 mm thick mild steel and strong cotton, this armour piece is built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular cotton and metal armour care.

A rectangular cape with artificial fur in the hem.
The cloth is lined, double-layered and quite heavy. We recommend it at night or when cold outside.
The cape is suitable for northern characters, but can be worn by almost every other character/costume as well.

NEVER RISK YOUR NECK

Designed to add comfort and protection beneath your Epic Armoury Scout Shoulders, this Scout Shoulder Gambeson is a must have when you venture into battle. Made from quilted cotton encasement and lined with a soft polyester interior, this product has a stitching that ensures the padding remaining evenly spaced. Secure it around your neck by tying the cotton strings in front and wear it just on its own or as padding beneath any heavy steel or leather armour. Quilted armour was common through many cultures and time periods, and with its interchangeable style and affordable price, the Scout Shoulder Gambeson will work on a wide variety of LARP characters.
