You keep your knife in your Thrust Knife Holder, keeping it handy while your hands are busy picking the lock on a noble’s unguarded luggage. Leaving anything valuable without a guard is like an invitation to steal it...at least that’s been your experience.
With a satisfying ‘click!’ the lock comes undone and you pry the chest open to reveal--oh, yes! That will do nicely. You pocket what looks to be a sizeable purse and a few interesting looking weapons, before carefully replacing the lock and sneaking out of the tent undetected.
DETAILS
Epic Armoury’s Brown Thrust Knife Holder comes with a knife, and is specifically designed to hold the straight-edged Epic Armoury Thrust Knife throwing weapon. The handmade holder attaches to the belt or armour using two leather ties. A leather strap buttons over the knife, keeping it secure even in rough fights.

HISTORY
- Also referred to as a frog
- Historically used to hold the scabbard of an edged weapon vertically from the belt
- Thrust Dagger was designed to resemble a “balanced knife,” which is preferred by most Western traditions
- Knife throwing was first used in martial arts and hunting before it became a sport
- Throwing a knife was always considered a risk in martial arts, because an unsuccessful attack would leave you without a weapon while arming your attacker

Never go into battle before first tasting your favorite ale. That is the advice you would give any of your fellow Dwarves, for you never know when this may be your last fight.
You slam your Beer Mug onto the table as you await the finest dark ale you know. The tavern was quiet before you walked inside, tense with the anticipation of a coming war, but you are loud and bring life back to its walls. You raise a toast to the barkeep and to any nearby, granting them glory on the battlefield before drinking deeply from your mug.
It would be a true shame to leave this world while thirsty.
DETAILS
Epic Armoury’s Beer Mug with Metal Bands is a throwing weapon handy for impromptu fights against other midnight boozers. The beer mug is cylindrical, standing 20 cm tall with a 18 cm diameter. The mug is carved with a wood texture and coloured brown to resemble the staves of a cask, rimmed with riveted metal-hoops. The hoops connect to the metal-coloured handle which is 8 cm deep, leaving plenty of room for grip. The inside is coloured black, mimicking a dark wax typically found on the inside of wooden mugs.
Made from coreless durable closed cell foam and finished with a strong latex coating, you can feel confident that this Beermug will provide the safety and appeal you want when crafting your kit.
HISTORY
- Also called a “tankard,” which originally referred to any wooden drinking vessel
- Similar to the earliest form of a tankard, which did not have a lid and resembled a barrel
- Earliest form has been found from as far back as 2000 years ago
Sneaking through the bandit’s hideout, you pause as a particular chest catches your eye. A true adventure always comes with its fair share of loot, you think, as you inspect for traps. All seems well as you start to pick the lock, wondering what sort of treasure the bandits might be hiding.
The lid opens with an awful creak--you’re sure someone will have heard it!--and as you look inside you are excited to find the entire chest full of stolen coins and gems. You don’t have much time as you scoop several handfuls into your Ready-for-Battle Purse, thanking the fact that your bag is big enough to carry so much, before you jingle toward the exit.
It’s about time something good came out of this journey!
DETAILS
Epic Armoury’s Ready-for-Battle Purse is a moderately sized cloth purse designed to hold coins or other personal keepsakes. The round bottomed purse is made from medium cotton and is tied shut with a cotton cord drawstring. The same drawstring is long enough that it can be tied to your belt in order to keep it close at hand.
The RFB Purse can carry a lot thanks to its 12 cm radius at full extension. Store anything that will fit inside its 23 cm length. Cloth purses are useful accessories and great for adding final touches to your character.
HISTORY
- Historically referred to and used like a “pocket” before pockets were added to clothing
- Pouches worn at the belt have been found in Swedish and English burial sites pre-dating 1000 A.D.
The forest is serene this morning as you head out along the trails. Birds are singing and the weather is crisp, perfect for working without breaking too much of a sweat. But as you approach the dead tree you’d marked the day before, you believe you hear something in the underbrush.
Your calloused, strong hand wraps around the handle of your axe hanging from your X Belt. The edge is freshly sharpened, and you’re ready to defend yourself from any beast that you might find--relieved as a neighbor’s dog comes bounding out from a bush, instead.
Back to work.
