Shield Bash!

Your shield sends a goblin clear off his feet, landing in a pile of his buddies. They miscalculated your massive strength, and are reeling backwards on the retreat. So much for supposed alliances--you can feel the goblin blood soaked clear down to your Tunic. They have learned too late that betraying an Orc of the Black Water would mean death. It’s too bad they won’t be able to share the word with their kin.

You adjust your great shield, letting out a battle cry of rage as another goblin aims for your ankles. Shield Bash. This one goes flying another fifteen paces.

DETAILS

Epic Armoury’s tunic is a light Viking-style shirt often worn as an undergarment, with a large V-shaped neckline. Reaching from the shoulders to the mid-thighs and made from comfortable, dyed cotton, this tunic is an extremely versatile item that can be a costume all by itself--or work as a base layer in a more complicated design. Made from durable fabric, this neutral cut tunic is an essential and long-lasting piece in any costuming wardrobe.

Runes can be used to divine portents of the future. Sure, you could use something as complex as tarot and spend hours attempting to ascertain meaning, or you could try it all with a toss of the dice...

Or for a less astrological use, they're also a great tool for very quick story development behind your GM screen and not quit as obvious as story telling dice.

This set contains 3 eight sided die embossed with 24 characters of the standardised viking runes set, as well as either a velveteen carry bag emblazoned with the vegivisir for added spiritual protection or a synthetic leather valknut pouch.

Epic Armoury’s Dreki Helmet is a full helmet that covers the entirety of your face, while maintaining the same nordic inspired, imposing, design that is common for the Dreki set. The riveted steel helmet offers incredible protection, while the angular design gives your profile a distinct look. The large eyesockets offer you improved visibility, whole the lack of a neck guard offers you impressive head movement. The helmet is held secure by a strap running from one side of the helmet to the other, simple without compromising the stability. With overlapping plates, rivets and its lean form, you can feel like a fantasy norsemen, braving the harsh wilderness and slaying ancient dragons among snow covered peaks.

The Dreki set has two colours, the primary being a Matte Polish and the secondary being Epic Dark, to highlight different aspects of the Dreki armour and again show its Nordic inspired roots. Made of 1 mm thick polished mild steel and top-grain leather straps and fittings, this armour piece is built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather and metal armour care.

I always loved the giant sea serpent Jormungand carved in the handle. When I was little, he used to lend it to me so I could pretend I was a valkyrie. It was the only thing I could lift up and it was still pretty heavy. One day while I was playing, I cut myself with it. I didn’t cry. I came back home with blood all over my left leg. He took me in his arms and told me: “Now I get to carry you everytime I go to battle. One day, it shall be yours.” I still feel the grip of this hand on the handle as if the wood carved itself to fit his grasp. My hand is much smaller, but just as strong and just as determined. Now that he’s gone, my brothers alongside him, it is up to me to uphold his memory. It is up to me to finish what he started and fight until Valhalla claims me. The sea shall bring me to my destiny. The wind shall swell the sails of my boat to this new land where my dreams have led me so many times in the past. When I think about who I was, I see the little girl  pretending to be a warrior.
But these times are long gone and time for pretend is over.

Epic Armoury’s Dagger Scabbard is a leather scabbard designed to protect your weapon from the elements, while keeping it conveniently close. This 46 cm scabbard will accommodate a 3.5 cm wide blade . Soft lining has been added to the inside to protect your weapon, while also making it easy to withdraw.

Wear this Dagger Scabbard with any character--especially a rogue or adventurer--by securing the holder to your belt through the belt loops. The scabbard hangs vertically off the belt, easily making it usable left- or right-handed. Made from full-grain leather and a hardened leather tip to prevent damage to your weapon, this weapon holder is built to keep its shape and withstand the abuse of a LARP with regular leather care.

Only the most proficient of Assassins were issued with a single knife holder for their belts. The display of only a single one meant they were truly to be feared because they only needed one.

Your throwing knife is held safely in the Throwing Knives Holder at your belt, keeping it handy while your hands are busy picking a noble’s unguarded luggage. Leaving anything valuable without a guard is like an invitation to steal it...at least that’s been your experience.

This sheath is perfect for holding smaller knifes and daggers. Simple and elegant: the Dagger Holder is an excellent asset.

Legend

Many years had passed, seeing old wars come to an end and new ones rise. The forest that belonged to Mael’s clan had shrunk, making way for the denser housing that had allowed its growing population to flourish. As his grandchild sat kneeling before him, he tried to remember why he had once thought the refugees would be such a threat but could only see his beloved wife’s eyes in the teen’s face.

“I do not know what the future holds for you but you have grown up strong and capable. You have learned our traditions well, both of our clan and of your grandmother’s ancestors. Your turn has come to walk in your parents’ footsteps and aid in guarding our peace.”

One at a time, Mael opened the folds of fabric and slowly unveiled a dagger. It bore a striking resemblance to his own but had been refashioned to represent the cultures that had come together as one within his lifetime. As he handed the weapon over, the youth’s eyes were bright; Mael prayed that these eyes would not be lost to this new war that drew near.

Workshop

This dagger is refashioned from one of the last products made using our old production methods. Updated with a new steel-coloured blade bearing stunning golden details along its center. As always, this weapon is made of our unique foam formula which gives it incredible realism and durability without compromising its safety. The handle is painted steel and golden and the grip has a rope-like texture to ensure great handling.

Character

Perfect as a side-arm for knights and holy warriors, this dagger can also be used by merchants, lone travelers and priestly characters thanks to its less cumbersome size. With its intricate details and golden accents, it could also be used as a symbol of social status for nobles.
