For when you must crush your enemies and see them driven before you, you choose the War Mallet from your armoury. With such strength behind your attacks, no one can stand against you on the battlefield--not even the most heavily armoured knight.
For all its simplicity, the War Mallet may actually be your favourite weapon. It’s rare you ever choose anything else.
DETAILS
Epic Armoury’s War Mallet is a 101 cm latex warhammer uniquely designed to be safer and easier to wield in combat. The War Mallet’s head is symmetrical, reaching 20 cm from the haft with two 20 cm diameter faces designed to deliver a fatal blow to your enemies. The head is hollow, making it safer to use and more lightweight than a foam alternative. Sculpted and handpainted to look like a heavy wood mallet, the head is attached to a dark wood-coloured haft 75 cm long.
The haft is made from durable closed cell foam around a fibreglass core and finished with a strong latex coating. The head is made of strong, flexible latex with an interior foam rod to maintain its shape and keep the head attached to the haft. With regular latex maintenance you can feel confident that your LARP weapon will provide the safety and appeal you want when crafting your kit.
HISTORY
- A late medieval weapon designed to damage armoured opponents without penetrating through plate
- Long warhammers were typically designed to fight against mounted troops, whereas shorter ones were used in close quarters
- Long warhammers were also used to attack horse’s legs during combat
The latex wood mallet is a typical tool that any manual worker of the time would own. It could be used to assault or render someone unconscious. It could be used as a means to build, repair or demolish and passes inconspicuously amongst the town folk.
Raiders are coming. They are heading straight for your village. As you wait alongside the guards outside the gate, one of them gives you a funny look. You are a carpenter by trade--not a fighter--and the only weapon you could find to defend your home was a Mallet.
Still, you’ve got a strong arm and a lot of determination. There won’t be enough guards to protect your family, and you plan on giving the raiders a hard time if they plan on making trouble.
DETAILS

Made from durable closed cell foam around a fibreglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, you can feel confident that your LARP weapon will provide the safety and appeal you want when crafting your kit.
HISTORY
- Also referred to as a maul, and similar in appearance to a modern sledgehammer
- Developed as an improvised weapon after the 14th century by archers who originally used them as tools to drive stakes into the ground
You stand at attention outside the gates of your enemy’s fortress, standing alongside other footmen. Inside, their people are filled with terror, deafened by your army’s trumpets and noise. Arrows rain down and you and your fellow soldiers form a barrier with your enormous Footman Tower Shields.
There is nothing that can stop you. The design of your shield allows you to stand in close formation, advancing on their defenders and dispatching them quickly.
DETAILS
Epic Armoury’s Footman Tower Shield is a kite shaped latex shield originally inspired by the Greeks. Finished with a hand painted wooden body and decorative metal rim, this shield is sure to impress your fellow warriors on the battlefield.

- Offered protection to most of the warrior’s body
Praise the Sun!
The Epic Armoury Sun Hammer combines many of the lessons we have learnt over the past decade in the creation of what can only be described as "Anime Class" weapons. The ridiculous size of the hammer is off set by the new and rugged Hybrid cores, and the head has the special shock-absorber design to ensure that your opponents can make it back up in time for the next scene after they've found themselves blasting off again.
Inhaling the crisp mountain air, you decide that today is a good day. With your Sun Hammer in hand, you look forward to finding the meanest, scariest beast in these foothills--and defeating it with much gusto.
In good humor you strike forth, whistling an old folk song. Some might think you insane. Maybe you are. But then, you rather prefer being called a dwarven berserker, instead.
DETAILS
Epic Armoury’s Sun Hammer is a 135cm latex hammer uniquely designed to be safer and easier to wield in combat. The Sun Hammer’s 39cm long head is asymmetrical, featuring a flat 20cm wide face on one end and a spike on the other. The head is hollow, making it safer to use and more lightweight than a foam alternative. Sculpted and hand painted to look like dwarven forged metal, the head is attached to a similarly decorated haft and a 49cm black leather wrapped grip.
The haft is made from durable closed cell foam around a fibreglass core and finished with a strong latex coating. The head is made of strong, flexible latex with an interior foam rod to maintain its shape and keep the head attached to the haft. With regular latex maintenance, your LARP weapon will provide the safety and aesthetic appeal fitting an epic character for years to come.

"It's heavy," Jaeger rubbed his chin furtively. "I don't know how well it'll do in combat. Especially close quarters."
Odrin stamped a foot "Stop bloody being such a sook, ye stilt! If ye can lift it, then ye can squish with it! And if a wee bugger gets ta better o ye, mebe ye shud learn tae swing faster!"
"How much?" Jaeger asked, his fingers getting itchy by his coin pouch.
Odrin's eyes just glittered in the forge light as he cracked a smile.

One day while you are hard at your work, kobolds attack. This isn’t something you will stand for, so you plan to teach them kobolds a lesson. Using your Dwarven Greathammer, you bear down upon the attacking pests in great sweeping strikes.
