LEGEND

From deep recesses in the walls, the chants of twisted throats echoed out into the cavern. There was no light but Awakened needed nothing so base to perceive what was real. The cultist had removed the blindfold that shaded their dark sockets from the world’s lies and turned their head in the direction of that whimpering thing which still tried to escape its fate, that writhing creature so similar to what they had once, pitifully, been.
