Black Dragon is our brand for the design and construction of weapons, armor and props oriented to LARP, Cosplay and film productions.

These are articles made of materials such as plastazote, evazote, resins and the like, used to give shape and substance to the wildest dreams of every designer or to reproduce objects not otherwise available because of fantasy.

It was born from the meeting between the Fucina del Drago and Black Forge, an artisan workshop that has been active for years in the LARP and Cosplay sector at national and international level which, in February 2020, joined forces in the common goal of expanding their work and their skills to offer them on a wider market also linked to film productions.

From this collaboration, projects related to TV series have been born that have benefited from years of experience and tests on materials, at the same time highlighting on the one hand the absolute reachable realism and on the other the possibility of truly shaping the imagination to give shape to things otherwise unattainable.

From the feedback obtained, the push that led us to strongly believe in this new project was born to the point of creating a brand dedicated only to this type of product.

Combined with the Undead plate belt & torso Mytholon revives some history.
Originally developed as part of the NPC deal for Conquest of Mythodea 2007, the set is being resurrected 15 years on. Whether it's undead flesh or a dark knight, Mytholon's Undead series cuts a fine figure in life or in death.

The "Untot" torso is closed on the sides with stable roller buckles. It is elaborately decorated with beads and features a riveted cross in the middle, which, like the separately available leg pockets, is ideal for attaching a coat of arms, a skull or other ornaments.

“While regular warriors often caused trepidation, it was nothing compared to the servants of the Bone Queen. The Undead Armour pieces were initially designed for the Undead faction at the ConQuest of Mythodea. However, the style also easily fits other campaigns for risen warriors, wraiths and death knights. The matte black design provides an ominous yet sophisticated look that signals a high-ranking villain or sinister antihero. The Undead Shoulder and Neck Armour Set has a two-piece gorget that protects the clavicles and is fastened with top-grain vegetable-tanned straps to attach shoulder armour pieces. These pieces comprise multi-layered spaulders that shield the shoulders and upper arms from impact. Shoulder armour pieces can alternatively be connected to a chest plate. If you wish to upgrade to a more comprehensive kit, we recommend the CQ Undead Medium Deal or CQ Undead Heavy Deal.

Epic Armoury’s CQ Undead Tabard is a sleeveless, open-sided upper garment worn over or under any outfit or set of armour, often with a belt. This particular tabard is made of solid black cotton with a white skull emblazoned at the bottom of the front. Whilst crotch hits are usually not game legal in any system we can think of, and rarely intentional, they're still going to happen and the pain is going to be all too real. Debilitating. Potentially nauseating.

Mytholon belt shields can be painted in groups colours, insignia or heraldry to show the membership to a certain group. Made from 1,2 mm steel, we offer them in our favorite plate armour series now. Matching the "Markward" series, this shield is decorated with the typical cut edges on the top. It is worn on a belt by using the two loops on the top to hoist it through there. Naturally it can be worn as a tasset, when fastened on the upper thigh. This way you will have an additional plate armour piece.

The belt shields, just like arm shields, cry out to be painted, modded and to be combined with existing clothing. This is, where your creativity and immagination comes into place.

Talking of creativity: We suggest to clean the shield with Acetone prior to painting it. Afterwards just sand it with a paper of 600 grid. Use some automobile colour primer as the colour-matching foundation. When the foundation is fully dried, you should sand it again and apply a second layer of colour. Now is the time, where you can paint your details, like heraldry, animals or writings with weatherproof acrylic paint.

This small belt shield completes the "Galahad" torso armour.
Use the two buckles to strap it to the centre part of the chest plate and to cover up the unprotected parts in your crotch.
It may be a small armour piece, but it brings a huge effect to any armour, as it can be used to paint heraldic colours on it.
This shield can also be added to any exsisting armour, but may need some handiwork to get it attached.

There is a price to pay for armour. Armour protects your precious body - your one and only - but it has great weight and great material cost. No normal person can afford the blacksmith when desiring a suit of full plate. Thankfully, while your pocket is not deep, your skills are many.
